Love how you’ve used the rule of three – hat, scarf and booties. This makes it classy and not overdone.

Thank you Debra! Glad you like it. That was intentional. I tend to be matchy-matchy but I know it can be too much of a good thing. 😉

Thank you Gemma! I had fun putting it together, I have a tendency to get too matchy-matchy. My daughter warns me about that. 🙂
Happy Friday!

OH Carmen! Love your “walk on the wild side” leopard look. Simply stunning. The only real leopard print clothing item I have are these cute flats 🐆

Thank you very much Bri! Well, now you need a leopard fedora to match! I have four pairs of leopard flats. 🙂

I really love the hat and booties tie in with the scarf, such a cute look 💖 I have not been a big leopard print fan up to now…. but maybe I need to go shopping and explore🛍🛍 Have a lovely day My Friend (there I said it!) My God, how much animal print in this post! Animal print, you already know, is not my favorite stamping. It is a dangerous pattern, because sometimes it can seem a bit tacky, although in others, depending on the design and the combination, it can even be elegant. It is evident that, dressed for you, nothing is tacky and everything is wonderful. You have managed to make even the excess adorable. I especially love your hat, a daring garment that gives you a slightly unknown look to me, more … daring, maybe? Your booties are fantastic and all your outfit is beautiful and colorful. Your outfit has surprised me, although I have captured, I believe, the essence and the message. I wanted to say that you remind me of some actress in a movie, but that is impossible, no actress has your beauty.

Thank you ever so much Josep-Maria! I agree, animal print outfits can look tacky, no one looks better in animals prints than the animals. lol We must be careful to achieve a chic look by not overdoing it.
Leopard was a pattern that my mother loved and bought pyjamas for both of us in the ’60s. Her look was more elegant than mine – never tacky, always classy. My look in this post is rather casual for a walk in nature. Hers was suitable to go to a party. I wish I had photos of her to show you, I wish she had a blog! 🙂
I only started buying more animal prints since blogging and I confess, to an excess! I now have at least 10 animal print scarves (I must count them), coats and jackets, tops and cardigans, leggings and pants, booties and shoes, hat and jewellery. Oh my! I should wear all leopard just for fun, but that would be very tacky! Perhaps to a costume party. Ha ha ha! 🙂

Looks super… and wild, Carmen. I can still see snow, but at least it is sunny!

Thank you Ute! Wild is wonderful! 🙂 Don’t let the sun fool you, it’s colder than it looks. We only went for a 10 minute walk along the river with a beautiful view of nature and then walked over to a huge antique mall to warm up and enjoy browsing through. I bought one thing – a leopard scarf for $10. made in Italy, soft as cashmere but made with rayon. It’s a very subtle pattern and pale shade. I’ll add a photo later.

Well, as your fashion consultant, I suggest that you start with a scarf. I know Florida is warm most of the time, but with your recent cold snap, a leopard scarf would have been perfect. 🙂

Thanks so much Jodie! It’s my mom who got me started, she bought us both matching leopard jammies when I was a teenager. In those days, I wouldn’t be seen in public in leopard! Ha ha!
