SLOW FASHION: 30 wears challenge

“The goal of the 30 wears challenge campaign is to encourage shoppers to buy less fast fashion and more slow, quality pieces that they will wear over and over again. The less we buy, over time, the less that will end up in landfills.” ~Melanie DiSalvo

I bought this double-breasted blazer about 15 years ago and have worn it more times than I can count. I’ve worn it on my blog several times with different outfits. It’s a quality jacket: a timeless style that can be worn with any skirt or pants, for elegant or casual occasions.

Have you joined the challenge?

  1. I love a good quality jacket – they are so versatile! I think shopping less and for better quality fashion is becoming so important. Also buying second hand quality clothes is great. I really love those flowers too! x

You are great that clothes form 30 years ago still fit. I think I have changed a bit, so they won’t… 🙂 It looks lovely in the midst of the Bluebells. ♥

My blazer is only 15 years old, but I’ve worn it more than 30 wears! 🙂
Having said that, I do have clothes from 30 years ago and even longer. This dress is from the 1970s from my cousin in Germany.

Oh I got that wrong, still 15 years. Wow. This red dress looks very German and one I would have bought. It would look also perfect for an “Abschluss Ball” after dancing lessons. It is timeless. Still I probably wouldn’t fit in it anymore. 🙂 hehe.

The blazer is beautiful, elegant and timeless, it is perfect with the jeans, which, in turn, look beautiful on you. A beautiful look on those flowers that you like so much. You look beautiful.

I always feel like jackets get the most use from me too. Even here in AZ where it’s been hot because it’s so cold in the stores.
