I’d rather be inside where it’s cozy and warm, and I can look at this breath-taking view without having my breath taken away!
The forest looks sugar frosted.
Let me take you through a walk in the woods behind my house. Bundle up, because baby, it’s cold outside! Don’t let the sunshine fool you, it’s -12° with a bitter wind makes it feel like -20° Brrrrrrr!!!!
I was hoping to visit Seattle again this January but I will be hibernating instead: a chance to catch up on organizing and sorting out paperwork, tidying my dressing room and pre-spring cleaning (yes, I’m optimistic that spring will come … eventually).
Even my car is hibernating.
Mr. and Mrs. Moose are lovin’ it.
So are Hoppy and Muffy…
And my grandchildren.
Christmas holidays 2016
Flashback to Christmas Day 2014 – NO SNOW
Looks like a giant snow globe outside my window.
The sight is magical; I love winter, except for the cold.
Let is snow–as long as I’m inside–let it snow!
Warm wishes!

What’s the weather like in your neck of the woods?

Really great winter / snow photos. I love all of them, but most of all Your car! 🙂 I am car fan also. If You do not mind, I show you my winter wonderland with Santa and reindeers:

Thank you Patti! I would love to be a snowbird like some of my friends who go south for the winter. I have such warm memories of Florida with my daughter Jean in January 2012. I love your beautiful state. *sigh*
Enjoy the good life!

Well, I don’t think I could be outside in that kind of cold. Especially looking so cute like you!
It’s gorgeous in your back yard. Here we are having lots of gray skies and……you can guess, RAIN.

This weather is not fit for man nor beast! Be glad you’re living in Seattle Joni. I’ll take rain anytime! At least you don’t have to shovel it and freeze to death! Honestly, it was so painful walking in this extreme cold, my eyes were freezing and I thought my nose would get frostbite. 😦
Thinking of happy days in Seattle and hoping to come again sometime this year!

I used to always love going to work early right after it snowed, because you could see it twinkling!!

lol, but please don’t send the snow in a brown paper bag as it would be a soggy mess on arrival in this heat. 🙂 ❤

How absolutely wonderful pictures 🙂 . We also suddenly suffer an outburst of winter 😦 – hate it !!!! but … of course i has its positives – kids love it, forest walks are nice, skiing 🙂 . You look lovely in your red coat and absolutely fantastic in your black coat and red accessories. Happy winter 😀 – I think looking at your pictures that I’ll try to change my opinion about it hhahaha 😉 . Keep warm – kisses – Margot 🙂

My dear Carmen, how much snow? And how cold? I hope you are warm and warm in your house. But the scenery is wonderful, and with the sun everything looks radiant and beautiful. I guess it’s cold in Seattle, but more like my city. What a beautiful picture of your grandchildren wallowing in the snow. And your looks … always wonderful with the red, the black, your boots, your beret, your smile … Thanks for sharing a little of your way of life (so different from the Mediterranean). Although in the photo of 2014 you look like a girl a little Latin! LOL

Thank you my dear Josep-Maria! I’m thankful to have a warm house, it would be luxury to have a fireplace. Seattle has a more moderate climate and so much green scenery in winter. I was there in January 2015. Take a look at this post and see that I am not even wearing a coat and I am not cold at all.

Oh yes, it’s winter for sure. Not my favourite month anymore, but children do love it! Once upon a time I’d go skating and cross country skiing. Now, I’ll just hibernate and take my chances to get cabin fever. lol

Wow , it looks like a Winter Wonderland. I would stay inside with an open fire and look at the snow in awe….. No I would go outside for awhile and walk where no one has walked before and then come in for a hot chocolate. We have rain and plus 8 degrees, whereas my sister outside Munich had -18 degrees and lots of snow.
Keep hibernating… Spring will be coming! … and keep warm!

Indeed, it’s a Winter Wonderland, but I’m pining for spring! Thankfully, I have a warm cozy home. Next house will have a fireplace. Hot chocolate after a walk in the woods is such a comfort. So when do you want to come? In winter to walk where no one has walked before or in the summertime when all the leaves are green? 🙂

That is a good question, but I think Summer is easier, less clothes and thinner clothes to wear! 🙂

Good choice Ute! I totally agree: less clothes to pack and more sights to see! 🙂
