The day started off overcast, but as the clouds rolled away, it turned out to be a sunny day in Seattle with blue skies and not a cloud in sight!
We drove to beautiful Alki Beach, west side of Seattle.
No, this is not NYC.
Did you know there’s a Statue of Liberty on the west coast?
It’s a smaller replica of the one in New York Harbor.
Enjoyed a stroll along the beach and Alki Avenue.
Some lovely homes and beautiful flowers.
A magnificent view of Puget Sound and the Seattle city skyline while we had lunch at a sidewalk restaurant.
What a wonderful place. I loved very much he replica – very cool. Thank You presenting this part of the world.

Hi Carmen, and Jean!! Y’all are having so much fun!! That gorgeous huge piece of driftwood is a perfect backdrop! And so texturally interesting!! So fun- the pic with Jean in the background reading!! That completely flowered house, shop?? is so serene, and vivid!!

Driftwood is so interesting. Jean wasn’t aware that she was in the photo. The house with flowers is not a store, it is a home–amazing, isn’t it?

Thank you Chy! You will love Seattle! I have more posts coming up about this fantastic city and my daughter’s beautiful eco boutique. London is an amazing city that I hope to visit someday, having only passed through and caught a glimpse of it from the bus, train and plane. I’ll stop by to see your photos of your trip. One of my dear blogging friends lives in London.

Habe a pleasant night!
Lots of greetings from Lu
