What a lovely surprise when my daughter Jean sent me both these tops. They are super soft with 3/4 length sleeves and a cowl neck. We both have a tradition of buying two-of-a-kind when we like something (in different colours) as my mom did too!
I paired the turquoise top with velvet Navajo inspired print leggings that I’ve had for years. The boots are also over ten years old.
I’m wearing the fuchsia top with mini houndstooth print pants (which have very fine vertical and horizontal fuchsia lines going through) and gray thrifted sneakers.
The daffodils are out and Spring has finally arrived just in time for Jean’s visit. What a fabulous Mother’s Day this will be!

Hi Carmen! Such a lovely gift from Jean to to send you those lovely tops. I can see they do look so soft! That is a great idea buying two of the same design in different colours. I really like the look with the navajo leggings and boots ! Then with the fuchsia with the houndstooth pants gives a complete different look but equally cute. Thank you so much Terri! It is a welcoming sight to see the sunny daffodils after the long, cold winter–especially since we didn’t plant them. 🙂 They now have a special memory for me as this is the time Jean came to visit!

Thank you so much Jean! I love the colours you chose, both are so bright and lively! The cowl neck is elegant and while thrift shopping yesterday, I found a Michael Kors top with a cowl neck so I bought it (only $5). Too bad we didn’t get to go to thrift shops while you were here, however, you bought some beautiful things. I’ll be showing your top made in Italy in my next post. ❤️
