First time having my three children together for Mother’s Day in 22 years! I was so happy that Jean, my firstborn, came to visit us from Seattle!
Our first adventure when she arrived was rescuing three baby red squirrels. No mother in sight so my son had to be the father and feed the little darlings!
Shopping adventures are always fun and double the fun with Jean! Browsing through the shops of the charming town of Kincardine, Jean found some lovely things, including this top with wavey colourful stripes (Cathrine Lillywhite, made in Italy) at ACCENTS. This cool necklace is included.
The beach adventure was fabulous with the most glorious sunsets in Ontario right here on Lake Huron!
Do you ever have days you wish would never end? Do you ever have moments you want to relive again? Well, these are those kind of days that I cherish and hope to have my children all together again! Perhaps next year for Father’s Day!

Hi Carmen !! What a special treat to have your 3 beautiful Children all together with you for Mother’s day after all those years! That is a memorable adventure for Jean’s arrival rescuing the baby squirrels. It is nice you and Jean got to take in some shopping, she is a professional shopper at this stage in looking at every aspect of a garment. That is a pretty and unique top she acquired along with the necklace. I love our outfit also in the same photo. It would be the first time for jean to see that sunset from your new hometown! The sunset is indeed glorious! There are so many days i would love to relive one more time Carmen! Having this time with all 3 kids must have rekindled so many past memories. i hope Jean becomes a regular “tourist” in her parents new hometown! It will be so lovely for you! It does bring back so many happy memories and now we’ve made some new memories! 🙂 Shopping with Jean is so fun and we have never missed a shopping adventure everytime we get together, whether in Seattle, Ontario, Germany, Scotland, Florida, California or New York City! You’ve inspired me to write a post about our shopping adventures in those places. 🙂
We are enjoying the spectacular sunsets of Lake Huron, feels like sunsets on the Pacific Ocean because Lake Huron is so big it looks like an Ocean!

How beautiful Carmen, love seeing the sunset . Wonderful you got to see all your kids and those squirrels are adorable! Wonder why the mom wasn’t there. We had baby bunnies in the yard last year. Love your red black and white look and Jeans new purchase.

Thank you so much Jess! It was wonderful having all my children together for Mother’s Day. We visited Jean in Seattle over three years ago and four years since she came to Ontario, at which time we were all together but not for Mother’s Day.

I want to relive the time when my son was a toddler. Apart from that, I can’t recall any other better time. Our children grow so fast. Though I am grateful to God for all the rest. And you have such lovely children 😄😆😍🤩
