… dancing shoes, that is …
Dance Plus in Toronto has a yearly sale for top quality dance shoes, some made in England. After trying on several pairs that I liked, I almost bought these but they had a 3-inch heel and I prefer 2.5-inch heels. They look very elegant but 2.5 is more comfortable and safer.
The store has a fabulous collection of ballroom music CDs!
A stop at Ikea to buy veggie balls (but they were sold out!). I’m lovin’ these new HUE pants!
They remind me of Rupert, the storybook bear who wears trousers like these in yellow.
Thanks for stopping by!
Have a fantastic Friday!
Linking up with Nancy’s FANCY FRIDAY
Yes Carmen, looking for something very similar for my little one… thank you for sharing…

I miss Rupert. I loved that cartoon. It made believe that cartoons are real.

Rupert is part of my teddy bear collection. 🐻 I still have the storybook with colourful illustrations!

Aww , man!! Why did they have to be 3″????
I love how you coordinate everything so beautifully! I wish I could fly up to Canada, or Seattle, so you could dress me!! ❤

They had other shoes with 2.5-inch heels but not ones I liked or in my size. 😦 Glad you like my look. Black and white is easy to style, just add a pop of red. There you go!

those dancing shoes look fabulous! So does your whole outfit! I can’t do high heals, as I am tall anyway, I get away with it. The heals on my tap shoes are just fine for me and they look elegant. Love your hat too Carmen!

Thanks so much! I’m most comfortable in 2-inch heels. Hats protect me from the sun as well as topping off an outfit giving it a touch of style. 🙂

Love the shoes. They look gorgeous on you.
Women often make the mistake of purchasing a pair of shoes because they look great. Meanwhile, the shoes are killing them. Comfort and confidence accentuate a tasteful look of elegance. Nothing sexier or more appealing than that,.
Have a great weekend Carmen. Keep smiling.

They don’t call them “killer heels” for nothing. 😉 The red shoes are very comfortable, I’ve had them for three years, bought at my daughter’s eco-boutique in Seattle. Thank you so much for your comment! 🙂

Thanks so much! The red shoes are super comfortable for walking miles and miles but they are not suitable for ballroom dancing.

Those shoes look very cute , pity they were in 3 inch Carmen! It is a great event to attend and get a pair of shoes at a great price. You look very chic in your outfit! I love the trousers , so fun , and the two layer top ensemble go well together with the pop of red! The scarf and hat really show you know your fashion. Have a great Friday Dear, Terri xo.

They were made in England, non-leather and fit so well except for the fact that I’m not comfortable in 3-inch heels for dancing. I have 3-inch heels for walking to the car and sitting in a restaurant. 🙂 It was fun putting this outfit together and the hat made me feel elegant.

How beautiful your red dance shoes, that color that you like so much. And how wonderful your outfit today, with Pamela you look like a great Hollywood diva! I love your pants and your blouse so sophisticated and beautiful. And the handkerchief, which is really cute. Carmen, in its pure state, the dance and the glamor of the most sustainable and solidary fashion. The woman who is able to dazzle without hurting or annoying anyone, the real woman 10.
