Looks like a scene from Narnia.
Guess I spoke too soon, but I was hopeful when I wrote my previous post on Tuesday that Spring is in the air.
My dance class was cancelled on Wednesday due to freezing rain. The weather has changed drastically since Sunday’s mild breeze and yesterday’s sun is GONE with the winter wind!!
What to do? Go for a walk in the woods. Sure it’s freezing but it is beautiful to see the magic of snowflakes falling and the scenery is breathtaking (the cold air is literally breathtaking too).
I bundled up with my winter white faux fur jacket and a fuzzy handmade hat I bought at a crafter’s market in Huntington Beach, California ten years ago.
I’m thankful we have a forest behind our house, makes it easy to enjoy nature in every season.
Beautiful photos..

lovely skirt and white coat…very feminine styling. I see that the cold didn’t stop you from being stylish.

The snow makes a landscape really magic!
The wood looks like a fantastic picture and you are wearing a stylish coat!
Since spring is coming, let’s hope that mild temperatures will arrive soon, in the meantime … I am sure that you will enjoy the beauty of snow!!
Stay warm, dear …

Wow! It is like Narnia!! So pretty. It was springlike here in Pennsylvania this weekend. We had traveled south to Annapolis Maryland, and Sunday was gorgeous there next to the water. Cold will return, though, and snow maybe on Friday! So, not out of the woods yet!

I would prefer to live it through photos as well, that’s why I hibernate whenever possible. One of these days I’ll get to California again, it’s been three years! I was in Seattle last winter to visit my daughter and even there the weather is so much milder and bearable. No snow, green trees and some sunny days where I didn’t need a coat.
Thank you for dropping by!
Have a sunny week!

Brrr ! You look so cold in the first photo Carmen.
The weather has been crazy here in southern Spain too. Hot and sunny, then dust from the Sahara mingled with rain covered the balconies and windows in mud, then hot and sunny again, now freezing cold with the possibility of snow tonight (it’s 11pm here now). All within a couple of weeks. 😀 ❤

This is Canada! Hard to believe that this same forest will look like this in a few months!
“… balcony and windows covered in mud …” ?? That doesn’t sound nice. Oh my!
Happy Sunday Ralph!

Even though it is cold, it looks so beautiful too! We have it quite cold here too but no snow. Well this is London. I had a performance last night and another one tonight. It went well and I so enjoy my Charleston! Such fun!

I don’t like winter but I love your outfit. I’m in a tropical sunny warm spot to get away from the Boston cold.

Thank you! It’s wonderful to escape the cold for awhile. I’ve had that luxury a few times but not this year.
Have fun!

Thank you dear! I’ll take this opportunity to thank all my photographers, starting with my patient husband who takes most of my photos, but also my daughter, son, grandson, cousins, friends, dance students, store employees, strangers and sometimes my tripod. I take most of the photos that don’t have me in them.
Here’s a sample of my son’s photography …
The photos with scarves were taken by the vendor.
Happy Sunday!

Thank you so much Maggie! A forest is just as beautiful as a river, right? There are deer and beautiful birds. There is a little stream, do you see it? Unfortunately, I can’t see it from my window.
Happy weekend!!
