While in New York City we went to a park almost every day and since we were staying near Central Park, we enjoyed adventures in the park many times.
On this particular day, I wore black and white paisley pants and another opportunity to wear the little black topper I bought in Harlem.
By sheer coincidence and to my surprise, my dear friend Maggie bought one in a thrift shop in Canada. I had never seen her wear it, but when she saw the photos of my topper, she commented that she had the same one. This proves that I have good taste, since I bought the same thing as Maggie without knowing it. 🙂
Maggie is a true fashionista and thrift shopper, always finding the hidden treasures in consignment and secondhand shops. I love her style, she always wears beautiful outfits with great accessories. I love going shopping with her!
I bought this daisy bag in the same store as the toppers. Anyone who knows me well knows I love daisies!
❤️ Thank you Maggie for being my guest today!❤️

Thank you so much Ute! It’s interesting that Maggie and I chose similar pants and a white top to wear with this topper. She had not seen this outfit. The photo she saw was from a previous post with my blue topper.

Dear Carmen, that day you opted for a bold mix of prints. A brave look and something different from your usual style. There is no doubt that it is beautiful, why play with the tones of your trip to NYC, white, black, red and all of them, mixed with intelligence, always work. I love the two prints (I see that Maggie also has it) and although I would not have put them together, they look nice together. I love your red shoes, they’re cute. Your photos without the shirt are still more beautiful, I feel more yours. It is wonderful how you integrate into the landscape, although in any garden you will always be the most beautiful flower.

Thanks so much dear Josep-Maria! I did not consider these prints bold. The topper is a mesh with tiny flecks, so I didn’t think that’s really a print. I think of it as a texture and because it has the same colours (black and white) I thought the outfit is a rather subtle mix. The red shoes are very comfortable from Jean’s store in Seattle.

Wow, thanks Carmen for letting me have the feel of being a model for fashion, I love fashion but can’t afford brand names. Few years ago , started thrift shopping and had being addicted to it , I was able to find brand names and good things. Love shopping with you too ! You have good taste and everything looks good on you !
