Palazzo pants get their name from the Italian word palazzo meaning palace. What makes Palazzos distinct is their wide, billowy legs, whereas pajama-style pants are more narrow. Usually made with soft, flowy fabric means they are super comfortable to wear and can be casual for lounging or very elegant for a grandioso affair!
I just found these palazzo pants recently at Sirens and loved the print: paisley and abstract art in black and white with pops of coral and taupe.
Paisley design is much more noticeable in real life but a little lost in the photo.
St. Jacobs is a small tourist town only a half hour from where I live, great for day trips. I enjoy browsing through boutiques, antique and home decor shops–always find things I like.
There are fine restaurants and places for unique photo shoots for fashion bloggers. My shrug is more coral than the photo looks, I’m wearing a coral necklace I made and coral bracelet (imitation coral).
There’s even a nature trail for biking and hiking along the river.
This is Mennonite country with horse and buggies.
My Laurel Burch purse is my favourite handbag at the moment. Cats go with everything, right! I have two pairs of these sandals (non-leather, made in Italy) black ones and red ones. They have wedge heels and it feels like walking on clouds.
I have three pairs of Palazzo pants now, these colourful ones bought at Spanner last summer and I wore them in NYC. I bought a pair of teal lace Palazzos at a flea market in Brooklyn and will feature them in a upcoming post. They are suitable for one of those grandioso affairs. 😀

Carmen, I didn’t know that is what you call them. I bought a pair last week and I thought they are just for summer evenings. I am learning. Love yours. Specially love that heart necklace on the last picture. Wonderful!

I adore St. Jacobs in the summertime. Try to hit that and the Farmer’s Market at the same time. We haven’t been back since last year. It is a great place to visit.
I also like Palazzo pants. They hide a litany of sins.
