The fragrance of the lilacs
I love this time of year when flowers and blossoms appear, they make such lovely backdrops.

I was happy to find this Michael Kors top on one of my recent thirifting adventures. It has a cowl neck and ruching at one side. I paired it with my white skinny jeans for springtime that I bought many moons ago at Le Chateu – another SLOW FASHION outfit.
I’ll wear it with black pants and booties when the summer ends, but I don’t even want to think about that now! Summer is my favourite season!
This lovely clutch is more than a wallet: it holds a cell phone, cash and cards and has a strap so I can wear it crossbody or over-the-shoulder. And what makes it extra special is that it is a gift from a beautiful and fashionable friend who was also my dance student before we moved. Thank you Marthe! ❤️

Hi Carmen !! It is a wonderful time of year for all the flowers and fragrances to come through ! Lilacs are so pretty ! Such an amazing find with that pre loved cowl top . If only i had got to the store ahead of you !! It matches my black with white polka dot skirt . It is a really stylish item to add to your wardrobe and looks amazing with your skinny jeans . You are right , we cannot think the summer is going to end! The clutch is really nice, such a great print of a wonderful city. And you will always remember the dance class when you use it. I have a cowl neck leopard print top which I thrifted about a year ago, it is so soft , I love wearing it. I was going to go thrifting yesterday but ran out of time. Thank you Ute! This top is like new and I don’t know why anyone would give it away except if it doesn’t fit anymore. Indeed, we will enjoy the warm weather and relish these few months! We can always find something to be thankful for; I’m glad we don’t have winter for 12 months! 🙂

This top is a great find. Black and white is an eternal classic and the cut is very flattering on you. It will probably be a wardrobe basic for a couple of years.
