All dressed up and somewhere to go!

My granddaughter turned 12 last week and that’s a time to celebrate. I wore my new light gray wrap pants, 100% cotton, made in India–and paired it with this feminine top. I love the mesh and appliqué detail at the neckline and little cap sleeves.

I kept the jewellery simple with a handmade beaded bracelet that was a gift from my daughter and silver heart earrings.

I had to make a decision whether to wear the white top or the gray one.

August has some special birthdays for me: my mother and both of my grandmothers were born in August. My granddaughter and youngest grandson were also born in August.

One of the games we played is BIG BOGGLE. How many words can you make with these letters? They must be beside or diagonally beside each other– e.g. SALT

A special month August. My son and my sister are in August too. You look as always lovely with those indian trousers. I am sure they are really comfortable too! Great that you love playing games together as a family. We always do that too. We love it and it is a great way to spend beautiful quality time together. Much love from Ute xxx ♥

August is special month for you too! The Indian trousers are super comfy and the embroidery detail makes them dressy. They came in a variety of colours. I already have this style of trousers in turquoise, black and white, so now I have 4 pairs, love how they look like a skirt and yet are trousers. 🙂

      Sending lots of love!

  2. Hello Carmen !! Many congratulations to your Granddaughter on turning 12, she is a beautiful young Lady, I think she follows her Grandma! The wrap pants look so nice with the mesh top. the jewellery is a good compliment to what your wearing and it is good to go simple from time to time . It is a hard choice which top to wear!! Your Grandson is 2 already ?? That time has gone fast. You will always remember August now! We have a lot of games but do not have boggle, I need to look for it ! Have a beautiful day my friend, Terri xo.

I love August! Thank you so much Terri! How quickly the years go by and we cherish the moments and memories! Since the wrap pants are gray, I actually like both tops and I have a burgundy top that I will try next time.

      Blessings!

P.S. There are two Boggle games–a smaller one that I recommend first. Your family will have fun with it. It only takes 3 minutes to play, but you can continue playing as many times and as long as you wish. 🙂

How beautiful is this look! This Indian skirt is cute and the top is super delicate, charming and feminine. I love your sandals and your jewelry. The white top is beautiful, but in this outfit I like gray better. A 12-year-old granddaughter, how long have we known each other!

We share a love for not only fashion (influenced by our dear mothers) but also concern for people and animals, and taking care of our environment.

      Wishing you a wonderful week!

I used to play Boggle all the time, because it was something I could play by myself.
I just love that skirt Carmen, and happy birthday to your granddaughter.

Thanks so much Jodie! It’s a fun game for sure, like you said, even to play alone. We also play giant Jenga, as well as several other games, a fun family time!
