White is my favourite look for summer, although I love white all year round, it’s especially my favourite choice in summer. I love the fresh, crisp, clean look of white–simply devine!
This boatneck summer sweater from Simons has a beach vibe and so I wore it to the beach in Kincardine where my youngest son bought a house recently. He hasn’t moved in yet, but when he moves in this summer, I’ll be able to visit him and enjoy the beach on Lake Huron with the best sunsets in Ontario.
A stroll around town and admiring the gardens is always a pleasure!

What a great Wisteria, wonderful as background wiht your white sweater. Oh and hte English phonebox, sweet. You are lucky your son has bought a house where it is nice and youcan have days out. Love your quote, Carmen, enjoy Summer when it is finally coming!

White is the quintessential color of summer Carmen! It is divine . The boatneck sweater is perfect for the beach or wandering around town. Thank you Terri! Yes, we both have white boatneck sweaters, great minds think alike! 🙂 Kincardine has a Scottish culture with Scottish Pipe Band Parades on Saturday nights during the summertime. A Piper plays the bagpipes on top of the light house at sunset. Kincardine hosts an annual Scottish Festival & Highland Games. Have a wonderful week!
