In the Mood for Summer

White is my favourite look for summer, although I love white all year round, it’s especially my favourite choice in summer. I love the fresh, crisp, clean look of white–simply devine!

This boatneck summer sweater from Simons has a beach vibe and so I wore it to the beach in Kincardine where my youngest son bought a house recently. He hasn’t moved in yet, but when he moves in this summer, I’ll be able to visit him and enjoy the beach on Lake Huron with the best sunsets in Ontario.

A stroll around town and admiring the gardens is always a pleasure!

Thanks so much Inese! When I see flowers I am reminded of your talent, how you can paint flowers that look like a photograph! 🌺🌻🌷🌼🌸

      Blessings!

Isn’t it beautiful? I would love to have one in the garden. I just had to stop by the English phone booth! We don’t see many of those. Today is the longest day and shortest night of the year! Happy summer! 🙂

Thanks so much Jess! It’s a wisteria, blooms in spring and early summer. I love the cascades of purple flowers with a pleasant fragrance. 💜

  8. White is the quintessential color of summer Carmen! It is divine . The boatneck sweater is perfect for the beach or wandering around town. You seen last week my new outfit a boatneck white top with the polka dot skirt. Kincardine looks beautiful! Lovely sentiment about the storms ! Have a nice evening Carmen , Terri xo.

Thank you Terri! Yes, we both have white boatneck sweaters, great minds think alike! 🙂 Kincardine has a Scottish culture with Scottish Pipe Band Parades on Saturday nights during the summertime. A Piper plays the bagpipes on top of the light house at sunset. Kincardine hosts an annual Scottish Festival & Highland Games. Have a wonderful week!
