The BIG Five-O!
No, it’s not my birthday. This month is our 50th Wedding Anniversary. To celebrate, we are enjoying some wonderful day trips and weekend getaways!
Niagara-on-the-lake is one of those charming towns we go to every year. This time, we were there for the final days of the lavender season.
Shops are open and the town is in full bloom. What a delight for the senses to stroll along the streets with beautiful flower gardens!
Room with a View!
What a wonderful surprise to stay overnight in a fantastic hotel on the 11th floor overlooking the spectacular Niagara Falls! At night, the Falls are lit up with changing colours. Waking up in the morning to this gorgeous view was a dream-come-true!

Happy anniversary to you and your husband Carmen!! I cant get over how someone as youthful as you can be married 50 years already though! I remember you in the lavender fields last year also , equally pretty poses this year. I am so happy your town is open again, the floral arrangments are just beautiful, a great tourist attraction along with the stores. What a fabulous view of the falls and a great surprise for you. Awww that’s a very kind comment Terri! Thank you so much! We only live an hour and a half from the Falls so we always go for the day and come home at night. This time was special to stay in a hotel overlooking the Falls and I don’t know why we waited so long to do this. Now we’ll make it an anniversary tradition. 🙂
