SLOW FASHION: 30 wears challenge

“The goal of the 30 wears challenge campaign is to encourage shoppers to buy less fast fashion and more slow, quality pieces that they will wear over and over again. The less we buy, over time, the less that will end up in landfills.” ~Melanie DiSalvo

I bought this double-breasted blazer about 15 years ago and have worn it more times than I can count. I’ve worn it on my blog several times with different outfits. It’s a quality jacket: a timeless style that can be worn with any skirt or pants, for elegant or casual occasions.

    I love a good quality jacket – they are so versatile! I think shopping less and for better quality fashion is becoming so important. Also buying second hand quality clothes is great. I really love those flowers too! x

      My blazer is only 15 years old, but I’ve worn it more than 30 wears! 🙂
      Having said that, I do have clothes from 30 years ago and even longer. This dress is from the 1970s from my cousin in Germany.

        Oh I got that wrong, still 15 years. Wow. This red dress looks very German and one I would have bought. It would look also perfect for an “Abschluss Ball” after dancing lessons. It is timeless. Still I probably wouldn’t fit in it anymore. 🙂 hehe.

    I support slow fashion too , buying quality and classic clothing was always my way , buy since I started thrift shopping I look for quality and good clothes, every time shopping is like treasure hunting, I always find nice stuffs, it’s fun !
