I got several compliments on my newly thrifted jacket (made by Parsley and Sage). I wore it for the first time to the Fashion History Museum recently and now to Fair November.
Ever since I heard about Fair November, we go every year, but we almost missed it this time. I love going to Christmas markets and craft shows to support local artisans and find unique gifts. The ambiance and Christmas decor warm my heart–especially on a cold November day–I look forward to Christmas as we celebrate the birth of JESUS! It never ceases to amaze me to see the creativity of the artisans, I always find something special.
It’s held at the University of Guelph and I love that they have a huge vegan selection of food in the cafeteria where we enjoy lunch after shopping.
Such a lovely look to wear to a Christmas Market!

Hi Carmen, it is such a cute jacket to find thrifted, perfect colour for Christmas! It goes great with the skirt tights and booties. I love the beret too. The fair sounds such fun to visit and I am glad you found some good food offerings in the cafeteria. We do celebrate the birth of Jesus . I wish the commercial advertisers would incorporate him into the meaning for the season , from which they make their profits . We started and finished decorating on Friday (indoors) The tree is up and our Christmas village. The outside still has to be done with lights. I will add pics in an upcoming post. Happy Sunday, Terri xo.

Thank you so much Terri! The beret and booties are also thrifted.
So true, businesses make great profits because of the Christmas season, but it seems they’d rather focus on making money than the reason we have Christmas. I’d love to see your Christmas village. I still have to set ours up.

I love the shoes you are wearing! Can you share what kind they are?

Oh, you must love shoes! They are originally from Le Chateau (Canadian store) that I got at a thrift shop (hardly worn).
Thanks so much for stopping by!

We started our decorating already too. We usually wait but December is going to be crazy, so it was fun to start early!!

It’s a lovely outfit. We decorated last weekend. In the US it’s customary to decorate after Thanksgiving but I didn’t feel like waiting this year. Next year I’m going to decorate even earlier in November because why not.

Thanks, Carmen! I do hope I get it done today! Waiting for DH to get it out of the shed. It’s up on a high shelf, that I can’t reach. The girls can’t wait either! So wonderful to have little ones in the house! ❤

Lovely outfit, very chic! I am starting my Christmas decoration after the 1st December. That is because it is my son’s Birthday today and I never want to do it before. So December seems reasonable. However I have been to a Christmas market in Paris last week, next to the Tuilleries, that was really big and beautiful to stroll through. Enjoy the Christmas time!

Thanks so much! Happy birthday to your son! My oldest son’s birthday is today too! My daughter and my youngest son’s birthdays are in December, so it’s always been a festive time of year. Although I start decorating in November, it’s a daily process till I finish, adding something every day. Today I will set up my German nutcrackers.
How wonderful you went to a Christmas market in Paris! That’s a dream of mine. My dream might come true (not for Christmas) for springtime in Paris! Wouldn’t it be wonderful to rendezvous? 🙂
