What I wore: blue denim dress to go blueberry picking.

I love blueberries, one of my favourite berries. These delicious berries are high in nutrients and low in calories. This superfood is the King of antioxidant foods!

I decided this blue denim dress would be suitable for blueberry picking. We went with friends to enjoy a lovely morning in a blueberry patch and picked about 10 pints of blueberries.

I make oatmeal almost every day and add fruit: sometimes banana slices, apple chunks or strawberries, but my favourite is blueberries! I add blueberries to smoothies and fruit salads and also love them for snacks.

Fancy leggings are thrifted for $2.50. Blue nonleather sandals made in Italy.

    Oh yes , denim definitely is perfect for Blueberry picking. Your blueberries are very high. I am thinking of “Heidelbeere” which are very low in the black forest. We used to pick plenty there and I never liked them, but I loved the picking. Nowadays I do like them very much and and I am very happy about it as they are really great super foods. ♥

    I was surprised at how easy it was to pick the blueberries, not bending required like strawberries!

    Hi Carmen. Dress is perfect for going blueberry picking in! I’m sure it was a good idea to wear leggings along with it, they look like a fun pair of leggings and I do like the sandals too. Adding a fruit like blueberries to the oatmeal’s definitely livens up the taste! I have never gone blueberry picking I have gone Blackberry picking.       Hi Terri! Thanks a bunch! Oh yes, we know the weather will be changing, let’s enjoy the outdoors while we can! I really don’t mind autumn, it’s the long, cold winter I dread! I used to do some winter sports like cross-country skiing, skating and sledding) but I have lost interest in it because it’s too cold. Have a pleasant evening

        I do like Autumn , if it can cut into Winter a little more that will be great! I have not truly embraced the winter sports , I get outside for the kids but I don’t personally enjoy the brutal cold ! Have a great day, Terri xo.

    I love that outfit! I’ve been strawberry and blackberry picking, but never blueberry. I don’t think they grow on Vancouver Island, so I have to make due with frozen.

    LOVE IT—used to have bushes on our own woodlot, too…before we couldn’t keep up with the mortgage and taxes! High bush, though…it left my short wife out of most of it :0(
