Here Comes the Summer!

I put together this black and white ensemble and felt like a street artist ready to do some chalk drawings on the sidewalk. Today is my son and daughter-in-law’s anniversary–15 years of marital bliss!

Beret: thrifted $1.99
Heart necklace: The Star Store, Whidbey Island
Top: Covered Perfectly, made in USA
Gingham smock: Marshals
Jeans: Le Chateau
Sandals: non leather

I wore it with black capris and a white top, nice and cool for summer. Lilacs are still in bloom!

We took a stroll around the neighbourhood and a Sunday drive to enjoy the lovely lilacs and spring flowers in the gardens!

Celebrate the summer!

  2. Such a very cute outfit Carmen to do street art in ! Such a stylish smock with the gingham and black sleeves. looks good buttoned or unbuttoned to reveal the black top. The white jeans are very nice with it and the beret, purse and sandals complete the look, 10 out of 10 ! The second outfit is equally cute , gorgeous capri’s with the white top. The lilacs are so pretty, thanks for sharing and happy anniversary to your son and Daughter-in-law !! Have a lovely weekend, Terri xo.

Thanks ever so much Terri! I feel like an artist in this outfit and plan to do some more chalk drawings with my granddaughter during the summer holidays. 🙂 I bought the little cherry purse in Seattle at the Pike Place Market. It has 3 compartments, I keep my cell phone in one of them.

Fifteen years is something to celebrate, right?!! 🙂

      Enjoy the weekend!

You have a lovely neighbour hood, with beautiful gardens. This house looks German really , easily can be in Bavaria in this style. The lilac is beautiful, just like you in front of it! Enjoy the warmth!

Admiring other people’s homes and gardens is a favourite pasttime–pleasure without the work! 🙂 The Bavarian-style house was built by Germans. It is not typical of other homes in our area. Thanks a bunch for your kind words! 🙂
