Lilacs are blossoming in every shade from white to pink to lilac and magenta! Spring arrived late this year, but there’s always a silver lining and therefore the blossoms are lingering longer. Magnolias have just vanished as the lilacs appeared and are still here. This is our neighbour’s dwarf lilac tree and a beautiful spot for this post.
Leggings are perfect for my dance classes and so comfortable around the house and garden too. I have a lovely leggings collection, mostly fun prints and patterns from tartan to florals and paisley to leopard print, even lace leggings. I’m showing two today.
Tartan leggings: like new, recently purchased at a thrift store for $5.

We had a lilac tree in the garden of a house where we used to live. During this season, I love fresh lilacs in our home and especially in our garden room. The fragrance is heavenly!

Thank you Amy! I love my collection of little flower purses, so handy for my cell phone and keys, lipstick and a tissue (the essentials, right?).
We have several of these dwarf lilac “trees” in our neighbourhood. Although I’ve heard them called trees, you are right, they are not technically trees, they are shrubs pruned to look like little trees.

Thank you kindly! I am certainly enjoying the lilacs even though our weather is often raining and cool, I’m so glad it’s not snowing! My “tea room” is a lovely place for inviting guests. It’s a pity you live so far or you would be my guest. 🙂

Lilacs are so pretty Carmen and the silver lining is that they are lasting longer with a late spring ! Lovely pics by your neighbours lilac tree. Oh I so love your leggings. It is nice to have the tartan ones to remind you of your time in Scotland! The floral leggings are so pretty with the dainty flowers. Thank you so much Terri! This top is called SIMPLE COMFORT and it truly is so soft and comfortable! I love tartan, my neighbour in Scotland said I was “tartan daft” because I bought so many things in tartan including bedsheets, blankets and a lampshade. We went for a Sunday drive today and the lilacs are looking beautiful everywhere. Have a wonderful week!
