Our neighbourhood sparkles with Christmas lights. Oh, what fun it is to drive along the streets in a warm car listening to Christmas songs on the radio!🎄
One of the churches in our area put a lot of love and labour into a marvellous event,The Walk of Lights with live scenes of the Christmas story along the path. This is the second year they have presented it, but our first time seeing it. As we walked through the tunnel, each scene had actors–frozen like statues–that came to life to tell the story of that particular event.
We’ve been enjoying the season’s festivities and activities: a wonderful Christmas Concert and shopping at several Christmas markets. I’ve included some links to websites of the vendors.
Red has been the theme colour of my outfits this month, I love how cheerful red is and it’s a traditional Christmas colour. My jacket was purchased at a second-hand shop almost four years ago. This casual outfit has four colours: red, gray, black and white. To top it off, I’m wearing my new gray hat with a big black pompom and also the gloves with sparkles that I bought at The Weathered Gate recently.
Hi Carmen, we are going to drive around this weekend to look at lights in neighborhoods! It is so fun to see. The walk of lights is a lovely presentation and educational for kids on their faith journey. I wonder if we have anything similar close by. Red is a great color for this time of year to brighten everything up. I love your accessories and the hat and gloves you got last post. Have a happy friday, Terri xo.

Thanks so much Terri! Accessories are the finishing touches of an outfit and makes it so fun to put together. We are going to a vegan Christmas dinner tonight in Toronto. I’ll be leading some dances (Irish, Scottish and Belgian). Enjoy your tour around your neighbourhood with your family! 🎄
Have a fabulous Friday!

What wonderful Christmas decorations. Christmas in your country is something really spectacular. I imagine what you are saying, walking around in a warm car listening to Christmas music and singing. And what a beautiful combination of colors in your outfit! The red, Christmas color and very yours color. The black, the gray and the white, also very yours, and that always combine of wonder and bring elegance to the look. The hat is a real cutie and could not look better in any other head than yours, the most beautiful!

Thank you so much, I’m glad you like my new hat. I love this combination of colours too. I will be visiting Jean and plan to take this outfit with me. 🙂
The lights looks magical! Many people have elaborate light displays, I’ve only shown a few. I will take more photos. Our house has some lights but not so amazing as other houses.
Feliz Navidad!
