After a few rainy days with cooler temperatures, we enjoyed some wonderful warm weather again in October. It felt like summer was back for a few days.
During our weekend getaway in August, I bought these gray leggings hoping they would go with this top. I’ve worn the top with capri leggings in the summer and now I can wear it with these leggings. It’s the design and detail that got my attention. They’re very comfortable and great for wearing in my dance classes. These pink booties are from the last century.
Super !

A very delicate and beautiful look, I love everything.
The print of the shirt is beautiful and the pants are very original. The delicacy of the booties is perfect for you.

Isn’t the top something you’ve worn before? I still envision leggings as a knit product gathered around the ankles of dancers to help them warm up (Like a certain movie I never did go to see!) Scotland would be great to visit…except for the haigis and the deep-fried Milky Way bars!

Guess you didn’t read this post. 😉 I did mention wearing this top in the summer, with a link to the post where I first wore it. 🙂 However, you do look at the photos and have a VERY good memory! 🙂 This post is to show how summer clothes can be transitional for fall. This is a good way to get more wear out of our clothes, don’t you think? You’re right, leggings are dance wear and that’s why I like them and wear them to dance classes. 🙂
As for haggis, we ate delicious vegan haggis while in Scotland: made with lentils, oats, mushrooms and seasoning, served with tatties! YUMMY!!!
Here’s the recipe …

You’re welcome! 🙂

As one lady blogger quite recently accused me—justifiably—of, I often just look at pictures. Vegan haggis sounds tasty—-and better than the original (!) ingredients! To be honest, I question my motives. A certain blogger just hit me with both barrels and I admit all she says is true. If I offend…will you please hit me with both barrels, too?

Haha! No, I will never hit you, I’m a pacifist, you are forgiven. 🙂
I was impressed that you recognized the top, so you get an extra star for that. 🙂

Hi Carmen, those leggings are a nice casual effect to wear with the top. It is a Girl about town look , out running errands or perfect for dance class. I love the background of the pics at the ruins. What great scenery in Scotland! How amazing this Castle is right by the north sea and the rock in the Sea. Christmas will be here before we know! Do they start early in stores and on tv just like in the US? Have a nice day, Terri xo.

Thank you Terri! Scotland is beautiful, as I imagine Ireland is similar. The castles are amazing. The one that we explored, Tantallon Castle is a semi-ruined mid-14th-century fortress. Hope to find the photos of us by the ruins with the North Sea behind us. That’s why these photos with the river behind me reminds me of those days living in North Berwick.
Yes, Christmas decorations are adorning the shops and I’ve begun my decorating too! 🎄We already went to our first Christmas craft show on the weekend.

There are many similar ruins of old castles in Ireland Carmen. I only made it to Scotland once when I lived in Ireland but want to explore it more. Take care Terri xo.

Well, that photo was not taken from my window – lol We lived on the 5th floor (no elevator) of an apartment building. The sea and that humungous rock island was breathtaking! (We could not see the castle from our window.) I know there are those who love the changing seasons and I would too if winter wasn’t so painfully long!

It’s raining, it’s pouring! But at least it’s not snowing, I’m not prepared for snow yet. I’ve started my decorating for Christmas and that cheers me up! Blogging and connecting with my blogging friends helps too! 🙂 Thanks for your friendship dear Ute! Have a lovely week!

Thanks so much! 🙂 The Summer Reprise was in October, it was as warm as summer and we even went to the beach. Now we’ve had rain for many days and there’s a downpour as I write. I’m surprised we’re not flooded. I hope the weather will warm up once more before winter comes.
Liebe Grüße aus Canada! 🙂
