Gray and pink top from the Weathered Gate

My shopping excursions in St. Jacobs are always enjoyable and I’m sure to find something I like whenever I go there. Case in point, this pretty gray and pink top with asymmetric style and 3 buttons (bought at the Weathered Gate). I can also make the sleeves longer, if I undo the little buttons on the sleeves.

I’ve paired it with capris for a casual summer look and will dress it up with black pants and black faux suede booties in the fall.

My rhodonite pendant was purchased at a Christmas craft sale.

The Pioneer Tower is a Historic Site in Kitchener, Ontario: built in 1926, to commemorate the early German settlers from Pennsylvania. It is constructed with fieldstones and is 18.9 metre high.

It’s a lovely area to take a stroll and enjoy the scenery. The tower overlooks the Grand River.

These comfy cotton capris have a cute criss-cross detail on the hem.

People used to be allowed to climb up the stairs to the top, unfortunately, it is closed now.

Thank you for stopping by and I wish you a pleasant day!

  1. Pink and gray is a beautiful combination, I like it a lot. And it’s printed on your shirt is also very beautiful. The shirt is very original and has a very nice design. It is perfect with your capri leggings, with that beautiful finish. I love your shoes and also all the photos, you look wonderful in a beautiful place.

Thank you so much Josep-Maria! I’m glad you like this colour combination. I really like this location and it is not far from my house, so I plan to go there again in another outfit sometime. This is the first time doing a photoshoot here and yet it is so close to home.

  3. Hi Carmen , such a very cute and unique top ! The buttons are a nice feature and having adjustable sleeves is so nice. I do like the capris and the criss cross adds to them. I also love your sandals , they are a good match to the top. Pioneer tower is a wonderful backdrop to your pics . Thanks for sharing and have a lovely weekend, hugs, Terri xo.

Like those capris and the top. Around Kitchener it is really nice and so many different things to see, as you show us. I’ll be there one day and you show me around! We have our heatwave at the moment – 34 degrees right now….not wearing much…. 🙂

Thank you Ute! Our heatwave is over … for now anyway. I’m glad you’re enjoying a window into my little corner of the world. Perhaps someday you’ll come in the door too! 😉
