Lazy Days of Summer

With the arrival of Summer today, we can now be assured of no more snow in Southern Ontario. Spring can be very temperamental. The weather changes its mind from day to day making it difficult to decide what to wear.

Now is the time for capris and sandals and more day trips. Visitors will be coming from Germany. We’ll be enjoying garden parties and dancing in the park!

I love the easy breezy days of summer…

wearing my all-white outfits…

Flowers and blossoms make beautiful backdrops for fashion bloggers.

Nancy, Charlotte and Jodie have such fun together!

Jess always looks elegant and stylish.

welcome summer!

Carmen, how we do love our Summer! ♥ We have it really lovely here in the UK to and can wear short sleeves and light stuff. You are so right a flowery backdrop is perfect! You and all the others look so gorgeous in summery clothes and clearly everyone enjoys it. Make the most of those Summer days be outside and take the warmth in!

First, thank you so much for featuring me!!! So lovely of you. You know I am a floral fan. Your outfits are so lovely and feminine and I really love the ruffled tank you are wearing in the first. You have the best legs, very lithe, from dancing, so pants and capris look wonderful on you- I am a big fan of all white outfits! They look so fresh for summer.
Happy Summer to you. thank you again.

  4. I love your spring outfits! On Vancouver Island, spring can mean sunny and smoking hot one day and cool and rainy the next. My spring wardrobe has to be eclectic to meet the climate challenges.

Same here in Southern Ontario, you never know from one day to the next, it’s like a tug o’war between Winter and Summer until Summer finally wins the game! That’s why transitional clothing is so important, you need to be prepared for anything the weatherman throws at you! 🙂

      Happy summer!

  5. I always love white + white. The ironic thing is that yesterday was one of the coolest days we have had 75F. Until then, June had seemed like August. I am even going to wear long sleeves tonight. There is something so uber cool about your grey top in the 4th pic. I absolutely love it!

All white is my favourite, so fresh and summery. I’m wearing long sleeves today too, it’s not as warm as I’d like it yet, but at least it’s not snowing!! 🙂

      Happy summer!

Carmen, you are the sweetest to include us in your post! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
It always makes me so happy when I don’t have to be cold all the time. It makes me even think about moving somewhere warmer which is something I thought I’d never consider….

You’re very welcome Jodie, your photo links to your blog. It fits perfectly with my first day of summer theme. I’m a summer kinda girl! I’ve wanted to live in a warmer climate all my life, but it doesn’t look like it will happen, at least not this side of Heaven. My dream is to be a snowbird, like some of my Canadian friends. 🙂

      Happy summer!

Lace, white, capris … all that wonderful feeling of recovering the most precious Carmen! I have talked so much in these years about Carmen and the whole white! I have talked so much about the symbiosis between white and you! And what about lace? Of all that point of romanticism that nobody expresses like you, with your delicate figure, with your precious skin, with that look that turns your eyes into gems … Your wonderful lace tops, your skirts that recover your hippie time, the landscapes that always frame your looks! Carmen, the summer, the wonderful clothes, the hostess that everyone loves, the dancer who dances when she walks or when she poses for the photos … The Queen of Capri, the queen of almost everything good and beautiful!

Thank you ever so much for your kindness! I’m so happy to wear summer clothes and enjoy these warm days with sunshine! I do love lace and long skirts but I will always be your Queen of Capri in white 🙂 *BIG SMILE*

Hope the sun is shining in your corner of the world!! 🙂
