The world looks brighter with the arrival of May flowers; short and sweet, these tiny flowers have already disappeared like the morning dew on roses. It seems the barren trees sprouted almost overnight as buds popped out, and leaves and blossoms magically appeared since these photos were taken this month.
Just a casual day in jeans and a sweatshirt.

Hi Angie! It’s fun doing little videos and because my daughter lives in Seattle, we haven’t been together for Mother’s Day since 2000. Your son lives in one of my favourite cities, but the gift came from Germany? Sounds like an interesting story, what did he send you? My favourite part of NYC is Central Park because I do love nature! Especially when nature is walking distance to civilization and the stores! 🙂

The flowers look so pretty enjoy your spring. It’s autumn in Cape Town where I live. Very rainy. I do like the way your jeans look the colour and cut. Because I’m so small I struggle to find jeans that fit well unless I buy 12 year old sized jeans.

Thank you ever so much Jodie! I love it! The colour, the style and the fit is perfect! I call it “Jodie’s top.” I have worn it three time already as you will see in my next post. I wore it for my Ladies Victorian Tea Party. I consider it a loan and if you ever want it back, I will send it to you. In the meantime, I’ll take good care of it and only wash it by hand as I do with all my special clothes. 🙂

I love the post, with the wonderful landscape of flowers, but today I was excited to see your video, to hear your precious voice from your home and admire the beautiful top that Jodie has sent you. The small spring flowers, so simple and beautiful, combine perfectly with the simplicity and beauty of your look. The flowers are beautiful and you have a beautiful figure too; jeans show it amply. Everything in the post and in you is balance, simplicity, elegance and beauty. I love the photo in which you carry flowers in your hand and you have your head down looking at them.

Thank you for your kind words, always a pleasure to hear your thoughts! These tiny flowers give me such joy because they represent the simple thing in life. It’s the little things that can makes us smile. 🙂 This area is a back street at the edge of our city with very old houses, some a hundred years old. I drive by almost every day to go to my dance classes.
