The Tale of Two Jackets

I bought these two jackets ten years ago. I’ve worn the silvery grey one several times. I wore it when I was a guest blogger on my daughter’s blog (before I even started blogging). It goes with any colour top/pants/skirt. This time paired with black, I think silver and black go together so well.

It’s a wrap style with ruffles and a big bow at the side. I love the shimmery satin look, as well as the embroidery detail.

This goldy bronze jacket is a slightly different style with dazzling buttons on the front and cuffs. This is actually the first time I’ve ever worn it. Can you believe it? It was one of those BOGO sales, so I had nothing to lose. I can assure you I’ll be wearing it again. This colour looks perfect with brown and it really dresses up wide-wale stretchy corduroy leggings.

I’ve had these bracelets for many years and I’m glad I bought them in silver tone and bronzy gold.

I only buy beauty products that are not tested on animals.

    I seem to get stuck in a rut with what I wear – I know there are several things Ive not worn hiding in my wardrobe, this has inspired me to get them out decide if I can make them work, if not I’m going to pass them on. Thank you 🙂

    Both jackets are beautiful, both have fabrics that fall in love and very original and elegant designs. Both styles are perfect, you combine them in a classic and elegant way, despite the informality of the whole. I love your animal print boots and all your accessories, always so pretty. A wonderful blend of elegance, style, originality and informality, a beautiful demonstration of the Carmen style.

    I have items that maybe I’ll wear once, and then not try them again for awhile!! Lately I’ve been trying to be better about wearing all of the pieces in my closet!!
