In January I took the Christmas decorations off our Christmas tree and decorated it with snowflakes and pinecones for winter. Snowmen and penguins are everywhere! They make me smile.

For February I hang hearts on the trees and add red and silver accents.
Hearts are my trademark.
I have an extensive collection of hearts from jewellery to home decor.

How lovely that you get to go to Germany so often! It’s never too late to share love! I love hearts not only because I was born in February, but also because of my German background. Hearts are traditional folk art and I have some lovely things hand-painted by a German lady who was a vendor at our Christmas market. ❤

Dear Carmen, although with a little delay … Happy Valentine’s Day! I was on vacation and I could not go through your blog before. You already know that in Catalonia we do not celebrate much this day, but since I’ve known you it’s also an important date for me. Thank you so much Bri! I love decorating, it’s sort of like fashion for the house. 🙂 I enjoy setting up displays and my granddaughter helps me. I have to rotate things for the seasons. It will soon be time to decorate for Easter and spring. YAY!! 🙂 I’ll need to pack away all the snowmen (snowpeople? Ha ha ha!).
