Flowers in February

No chance of real flowers growing in the frozen snow-covered ground of Ontario, but that doesn’t stop me from wearing florals. I’ve always worn florals in the winter and wrote about it a few years ago–Fake Fur and Florals. It cheers me up and makes me smile because it reminds me of my favourite season–summer! A Girl Can Dream!

I bought these pants last year and wore them with black tops. When I saw this pretty top with appliqué roses, I knew it would be perfect paired with my pants.

Too cold for sandals but I have red booties and black booties until the snow melts and then I’ll wear my favourite footwear again–sandals!

Do you wear florals in winter?

  5. No chance of real flowers in Minnesota either as you know Carmen I am sure!! But you are right a Girl can dream! The pants are really cute for this time of year and and the top is adorable , the appliques are so nice on it and the boots match the flowers in the pants and top. I have a few tops I wear in winter with floral print . It gives us a glimpse of spring , right? Have a lovely evening Dear, hugs, Terri xo.

I remember perfectly your previous post, with those nice pants. Almost as pretty as the ones you wear today, with these beautiful printed flowers. And what a wonderful blouse! I love the lace on your sleeves and on your neckline, pure seduction and maximum elegance. A magnificent, suggestive and attractive look. And even if you do not wear sandals, your boots are beautiful and perfect in the outfit. My God, Carmen, every day that passes you are more beautiful and more elegant, every outfit is more beautiful and every day you surprise me. It is evident that in the cold climate of Ontario flowers can not come out, but in Ontario it lives the most beautiful flower in the world … you!

Thanks a million dear Josep-Maria! You are always very generous with your kind words and it means so much to me that you take time to write in detail! Next week I will be 66 and this is truly encouraging to read! These will be my last photos of being 65 – ha ha!! 🙂

I hear you, February and March can be brutal, a cold front is on the way. The top looks like a set, one of those times when you find the perfect match to something. I actually have several red booties, my favourite colour for boots and shoes. 🙂

      Thanks for stopping by! 🙂
