This is a wonderful time of the year as we prepare for Christmas!

It’s sweater weather and this one is a cozy cotton knit. I love the asymmetrical design with a blend of pink and burgundy shades. I paired it with jeans and denim sneakers.

We’ve still been enjoying several mild days. We had our first snow flurries in November which made the trees in our forest look sugar frosted (but it melted). Yesterday was warm enough to not even need a coat.
I’ve had this pink faux suede coat with faux fur trim for years.

I wore it to the Etsy Christmas Craft Show. So many talented artisans and I will feature a few. I love supporting small businesses.

An assortment of garden markers made with flattened antique spoons. I bought one with lavender stamped on it.

I bought a unique fanny pack. Normally I don’t wear them, but I loved the fruit print and will wear it with jeans to carry my cell phone while walking in the woods.

Original abstract art and prints

It’s always a pleasant surprise to meet friends while shopping, part of the fun is stopping to chat–something we can’t do when we shop online.
Let’s support local venders and small businesses in our area.
Have you ever shopped on Etsy?

Such a cute unique sweater Carmen. Love the asymmetry. Also that peace sign necklace is fab!
Welcome by Thursdays to link your fabulous style with me. I also think you’d like my last two style posts dressed up velvet for both me and for little Vivian, too. Happy Hump Day!!

Thanks so much Ada! Glad you noticed the peace sign necklace, it’s made by an artisan in Brooklyn. I love supporting artisans! I’m wearing matching earrings but they’re hard to see, so here is a photo.
Thanks for the invitation, I love velvet and will be wearing red velvet in my Christmas post.

QUERIDA CARMEN, it is not very usual to see you with jeans, and even less with sports shoes like these. You always look for the point of elegance and balance in all your proposals and here, although it is not a very “Carmen” look, it also has its grace and personality. Why the sweater is cute, I love the asymmetric design and the print. And the jeans look perfect on your beautiful legs (any garment looks beautiful on you). What surprised me most are the sneakers, but they are perfectly integrated into the casual outfit that you have organized, although they do not seem very appropriate for the winter weather of Ontario, right? The back look of the sweater is beautiful, but it is eclipsed by the beauty of your hair … I’m sorry! The overall outfit, with the jacket and scarf is beautiful, delicate and soft, modern and functional. Although that snow that crosses the photos does not match very well with your sneakers (LOL). I love all the products that you promote, they are fantastic, I will come to buy some (LOL).

Thank you so much dear Josep-Maria! Quite right, I don’t wear jeans on my blog often because I don’t wear jeans often. 🙂 These shoes match nicely with jeans and the weather was dry with no snow. I will soon need to wear boots so I wear shoes as long as possible. Ha ha, you noticed that is snowing on my blog 🙂 You are welcome to come and shop in Canada! Do you have Christmas markets in Catalonia?

I love Etsy, there are always amazing things on and it gives me creative ideas. Good to know it was warm in between, and it is December now, probably Winter will be gentle this year…..

Wouldn’t that be nice … a gentle winter! Actually, I’m expecting a gentle winter because I’ll be in Seattle in January and their winters are much milder. Last time when I was there in January, there were days I did not need a coat. Some women had bare legs and sandals.

Hi Carmen, you look great in that pretty sweater! It looks great with the casual jeans and sneakers. When you add your faux fur jacket you are really set for late fall/ winter weather. Your hair looks great in the pictures. Such fabulous crafts made by talented people I’m sure you had a great time perusing! I have an Etsy account but I have not bought on it as of yet hopefully soon. enjoy the rest of your Monday take care hugs Terri 💗

Thanks so much Terri! This coat is machine washable. I had one in black but I lost it. How does a person lose a coat? I’ve been looking for one like it ever since to no avail.

Hi Carmen , I am amazed it is machine washable! It would look so good in black. I am guilty of losing a coat in the past too:( We have had our first snow that has stuck to the ground overnight. Not looking forward to dealing with it! Have a nice day, hugs, Terri xo.
