Whenever I do a photo shoot with high heels, you can be sure I have a pair of flats in a bag with me. I do admit stilettos make a woman’s legs look more elegant, but as for me, I will follow Audrey Hepburn’s footsteps and enjoy the comfort of my ballet flats.
However …
having said that, these 2.5 inch peep-toe wedges are as comfortable as flats. Made in USA by oka-B – quality and comfort. I walked the streets and neighbourhoods of Seattle last year when I bought them at DRIZZLE & SHINE.
And this summer I walked through the parks and streets of New York City.
Then when it’s time to go home, I click my heels three times and say,
there’s no place like home!

Thanks so much Terri! I can even wear these if it rains. My toes might get a little wet, but my shoes won’t be ruined, they are a high quality Microplast technology (a lightweight, flexible shoe that remains comfortable and durable). BTW I recently watched Dorothy dancing on the yellow brick road all the way to Oz! Love those ruby slippers!

I agree with you. I am not good with high heals and prefer flats, or some little heals, like the 20’s, or like on my tap shoes as well, they look good and are not that high. Being tall I don’t really need it anyway. 🙂

You’re fortunate to be tall, makes any outfit look more elegant. Why else would they choose tall models? Well, I could use the height, I’d love to be a little taller, but I’ll stick with comfort, safety and health (for my back). I could break a leg walking in stilettos, it’s a feat I’ve never mastered. My mom was an expert and actually said she was comfortable in high heels.

My dear Carmen, you look beautiful with heels, but in my imagination I always see you with ballerina slippers, in the Audrey style, that is, for me, your most wonderful image. Although I also imagine you wearing red shoes, it is another of your images. And these, bought at Jean’s house, are very beautiful and, as you say, comfortable, something that is very important to you, right? I love your pants, the pattern is delicate and elegant, and combined with the black of your shirt, another of your iconic garments, they are perfect. Black and red, Carmen and the aesthetic balance. You look really beautiful in the photos, but this is nothing new, beauty is you!

Ha ha!! Yes, indeed! Seattle is my second home! I’m planning a trip in January to get away from our bitter cold winter in Ontario. It will be wonderful to see you again. Let me know when you want to click your heels and fly to our corner of the world. I suggest summertime because you will enjoy places more in warm weather. 🙂 Seriously, I’ve been thinking of you and wanting to tell you my plans of visiting Jean. These are such great shoes Carmen!! I have some “heels” that are actually just as comfortable as my flats. In fact, some of my flats are too flat, but I also have orthotics for those shoes!!
