Fantastic place – beautiful pictures. And you in your relaxed, summer clothes – just perfect outfit. LOve your polka dot pants – they look perfect with black and red . You must have had a great time in NY – great review, beautiful pics :)))) . Kisses – Margot :)))

Thank you so much Bob! I love what you said, “Being in touch with nature is being in touch with God.” His handiwork is awesome and one can only stand in amazement as we behold the wonder of His creation! Reminds me of a quote from the movie “Sissi” (German Princess Elisabeth (Sisi) who said …
“If you’re ever worried or upset, go through the woods with open eyes. And in every tree, in every shrub, in every creature and every flower, the Almighty God will reveal Himself to you and give you solace and strength.” (Duchess Elisabeth in Bavaria and Empress of Austria and Queen of Hungary (December 24, 1837 – September 10, 1898) wife of Emperor Franz Joseph I.

Isn’t Central Park incredible?? We used to visit NYC every Labor Day, and enjoy the sights. But Central Park was so big, that we split it up into two trips. The southern part and northern part!!!
But we did take our map because we are terrible with directions—ha ha!!
XOXO

WOW!! To go to NYC every Labour Day, how wonderful!! I could spend an entire week exploring Central Park. 🙂 While I stand back to admire the work of people who have designed and built these amazing structures in our cities, we need God’s creation to bring balance to our lives.

Definitely an amazing park, we explored Central Park 6 times on this trip, as well as four other smaller parks. Funny, we go to one of the biggest, busiest cities in the world to hang out in the parks! lol But I guess that’s what I love: civilization, but never being too far from God’s miracle of nature. 🙂

That park is huge, but needs to be as it is the only one in NY. , A piece of nature amidst the concrete jungle! It is much needed for New Yorkers. Looks lovely!

I agree, parks are needed in every concrete jungle! Central Park is by far the biggest park in NYC and my favourite one. However, there are so many parks in Manhattan. We went to four more parks: Morningside Park, Bryant Park, The High Line and Washington Square. I will show you Morningside Park next post. 🙂
What is your favourite park in London?

Definitely St. James’s Park. It not that big but the nicest for me. It is near Buckingham palace. Love to see the next Park. 😀

St. James Park near Buckingham Palace, sounds so regal! A park doesn’t have to be big to be beautiful. 🙂 I will post Morningside Park tomorrow or Wednesday. ❤

My dear Carmen, what a wonderful report from Central Park! How many corners, how much nature in the center of the city, what wonderful spaces to walk, to relax, to love … animals, plants, architecture for people, landscape … is a wonderful place to share. And you walking there, with those capris that I fell in love from the first time I saw them! A beautiful place that you, with your presence, turns into truly wonderful!

Thanks so much dear Josep-Maria! I hope you will have a chance to visit Central Park someday, although I’m sure you have lovely parks and an abundance of nature in your beautiful country, where I have seen photos of the majestic mountains, gorgeous beaches and the beauty of Catalonia!
It makes me smile that you like my capris, they are my trade-mark 🙂 . I brought 3 pairs to NYC: white, black and polka dots. No capris in my next post. lol

I just looked up photos from “DAS GRÜNE U” and it looks amazing! Central Park also has an English garden, with lovely plants, hedges and flowers. Photos of “ENGLISCHER GARTEN” in Munich, are beautiful! It’s wonderful to have these lovely parks in urban areas for people to enjoy some greenery and nature. 🙂

I didn’t know that Killesberg was part of it. I enjoyed the little train ride through the park and the spectacular view of Stuttgart from the tower in the park! 🙂
