Daisies make me smile! 🙂 For me, they represent the simple pleasures in life!
Roses are elegant, orchids are luxurious and there are a myriad of beautiful flowers to behold, the humble daisy is my choice: simply growing in a meadow, they do not boast to be the most beautiful flower in the world, they have a modest quality that makes them pretty too.
My top has lace across the front at the neckline and sleeves. And lace on the hem.
As a little girl, I loved making delicate daisy wreaths for my hair. I chose a crown of daisies for my wedding day. I carried a bouquet of daisies as I walked up the aisle. This skirt is lace with daisies that I bought last time in NYC that you can see closer here.

I almost lost this post! It would be unforgivable to miss a post from Carmen and the daisies! It’s the real wonderful post! Daisies and Carmen is a beautiful couple. Little I can say about your capris that I have not said already, so long ago that I named you queen … I love the delicate blouse, with that wonderful lace band. It’s elegant and romantic … just like you! Your image with the daisies on your head is the image of beauty, romanticism, delicacy, tenderness, softness. The image of the most beautiful woman on Earth.

Thanks a bunch Josep-Maria! I would miss your opinion because you are a fashion expert as well as my dear friend! You have given me the title Queen of Capri which I love! My dear mother was influenced by Audrey Hepburn and Audrey is a lady you and I also admire. She wore casual capris and ballet flats, with elegance and style. Capri pants are more chic than shorts and long pants can be too hot in the summer.

I saw you changed it before I read your post. It looks so lovely. Flower power…. Those daisies are beautiful and as children we picked them and gave my mum a big bunch when we came home form the meadows. Oh and I love that skirt specially!
