Polka Dot Capris

Time to wear capris, they’re cooler than pants and more chic than shorts. These ones are black with white polka dots and great for a little pattern mixing.

My happy feet are enjoying sandals again!

This tunic is a few years old bought at Budds Department Store (a family business which closed its doors forever in 2016 after 89 years).

Sandals are my favourite footwear, I wear them as often as weather permits, sometimes even when it’s too cold. πŸ™‚

I’m with you in the capri camp, Carmen. They’re the perfect alternative to shorts and pants, all year long too πŸ™‚ and I love how yours are splattered with the cutest teeny itty bitty polka dots!!

Thank you Sheela! I’ve been wearing capris since the ’60s. We called them pedal pushers back then–great for bike riding!

Very nice pattern mixing, Carmen! Your capris and blouse go happily together … πŸ™‚ And asymmetric clothes always add interest to the outfit.
    Capris look lovely on you!

Thanks so much Dan! I find polka dots are a pattern that is easily mixed, providing the colours are also found in the other item it is mixed with. πŸ™‚

The weather varies here as well, not every day has been suitable for sandals, we’ve had a mix of cool and rainy days too. Having said that, it looks like sunny days are here to stay for awhile. πŸ™‚

      Wishing you sunny days!

Finally the capris returned! My queen of capri, reign again! And, in addition, with the capri of small moles, one of my favorites. And with a wonderful asymmetric tunic, boho style boho. The queen of capri and the queen of the natural, sustainable and ecological. I love the print of the tunic and its design with that asymmetrical and diverse shape, I love your sandals so your feet enjoy, and also my eyes to see them. Beautiful necklace and beautiful bag. And, as always, above all, how beautiful you look!
