My eyes light up brighter than a starry night when a package arrives from Seattle. I know it’s from Drizzle & Shine. Recently, Jean sent me three new things from her eco boutique: a blue tie-dyed dress, a black dolman-sleeved top and this soft-as-silk top with blue roses.
This floral print is not the traditional kind you see on old-fashioned curtains. Rather, it reminds me of the art painted by impressionists and post impressionists like Claude Monet and Van Gogh. Apparently, pure impressionism avoids the use of black paint, but that’s what makes this pattern vibrant with pops of colours.
In my opinion, it’s very impressive!
It’s made in USA by Weston Wear (San Francisco)
Just perfect for a Saturday morning trip to the bakery for fresh pretzels.

I love your top and the cardigan with this cute emblem. The blue roses make the top different from all the other ones. As always you look very pretty, happy and relaxed. I love your style. Cheers – have a lovely day – Margot :)))

Beautiful blouse, I love this print and delicate design. And I like the outfit that you have prepared with your beautiful pants and your delicate red shoes. The pendant is cute. The outfit with the jacket is very elegant and delicate. I like flowers and the nice fringed bag. But, as always, the most beautiful thing is you, your smile, your hair, your figure, that turns any pretty look into a wonderful look.

Thank you so much Josep-Maria! A sales representative came to Jean’s store when I was there last year. However, the tops were not available at the time, only samples of the clothes Jean could order and choose what she wanted to purchase for her store. It was the artistic design that I loved when I first saw it, just like a beautiful painting. How happy I am that she sent me this top! The clothes from her store bring such wonderful memories of my visit to Seattle.

Thank you Melinda! I love Monet paintings and got to see some of his art in New York City. I also saw Van Gogh’s Starry Night while in NYC. It’s much bigger than I imagined. The one in this post is the actual photo that I took of the actual painting. 🙂

Lovely top dear friend. A very apt, but probably not that tasty, baker’s door handle 😉 ❤

Thank you dear Ralph! I would like a door handle like that on my front door, but I wouldn’t want the neighbours knocking asking if I sell pretzels. 😉
