What a cheerful way to brighten up dreary, rainy days in April in my navy blue raincoat with polka dots. I bought it at Drizzle & Shine.
We’ve had a number of rainy days this month. My red rubber duck boots add a pop of colour and I can splash in puddles if I want to.
It has pockets and the coat folds up into one of the pockets, very practical to take along and have it handy for some drizzle or a sudden downpour.

Awww that’s so sweet Melinda! Thank you! Speaking of birds, robins have returned from their vacation down south and are busy building their nests. Now I’m longing for flowers to grow: a few crocuses have popped up and some blossoms are blooming on the magnolia trees! The promise of spring is here! 🙂

Always, always so wonderful and so beautiful, even with a raincoat small polka dots! The raincoat bought at Jean’s store is cute, I love this delicate stamp. And the red zapatitos (a color made for you) are precious, and give a touch of color and joy to the look. Although the true joy of the post is your hair over the hood, the smile emerging from your lips, and those beautiful gray eyes that even on rainy days illuminate any situation. I love the look!

After a long, cold winter, every little promise of spring makes my heart sing like the birds who are returning from their holidays in the south. They are very smart to get away for the winter! Here in Ontario, the weather changes from day to day: we’ve had snow in April, also sunny days that feel like summer and of course, rain.
