These Boots are Made for Walking

DSC08985

It will be time to pack away my winter boots soon (I hope) and bring out my sandals again. I keep a few boots that are transitional and can be worn in spring like these ones that I bought at a thrift store for $10. Thrifting is good for the environment. I only buy second-hand shoes if they are like new.

This top is from Reitmans (a Canadian store based in Montreal, founded by Herman and Sarah Reitman in 1926). I love the detail of this top with buttons at the sides.

100% Cotton–of course–for comfort.

I’m so envious of my fellow bloggers who are already wearing sandals.

I can hardly wait!

Have a fashionable spring!

Thank you Maggie! Yes, my red ones are a similar style with laces, but the soles are different. The red ones are good for dancing, but the black ones have rubber soles.

Let’s put on our dancin’ shoes!

I love this top, I love the design and the softness of the fabric and the color. Plus it combines wonderfully with these nice pants. The boots are beautiful and look very comfortable for your spring walks. Are they also good for dancing? I hope you can wear your wonderful sandals and spring and summer dresses that you like so much. Some very nice photos, in which you look especially beautiful today.

Thank you so much Josep-Maria! The top is super soft! Unfortunately, these booties are not good for dancing. 😦 They have very sturdy soles with treads so I don’t slip on snow and ice. 🙂 I can hardly wait to wear summer dresses and sandals!

      Have a lovely week!

I do like that top with the necklace, also the boots. I was dancing last Friday and I do have to say I feel now better in no heals. I think it is a bit too soon for sandals, I would get cold feet in them, but boots are back and lighter shoes are taking over. It is definitely getting warmer though. ❤

I know what you mean, Carmen.
We went to Phoenix for a long weekend, and one of the most exciting things for me was that I could wear my sandals!!
