It’s a tradition: find something I like–buy it in another colour too.
My mom started this family tradition and my daughter Jean is carrying on with our tradition.
While at our annual car show this summer, I saw a lady with this beautiful lace top. Not being shy and always loving to compliment ladies who are fashionable, I asked her where she bought it (hoping it wasn’t from another country).

WONDERFUL.
So next time in Ricki’s, there they were in black and white … on sale.

I love your lace tops ,and your family tradition is quite similar to me, cause I also like to buy clothes and shoes of same style but in different colors, and it’s a good thing cause sometimes you like the fit and when you go back to the store sometimes you won’t find the style , the color or in your size the same garment or pair of shoes, so better to get them in the first shot ! You look dressy and comfortable in those outfit you really know how to dress cute and elegant !

hahaha – this idea is very sweet 🙂 . But, frankly speaking I wouldn’t have guesed that they are the same tops. White version shows the lace much clearer, and so it looks different. But anyway – BOTH LOOK GREAT and you in them 🙂 . Cheers – Margot 🙂

Haha, Twice is Nice! Now this is a post I can relate to. If something is great in one colour, it’s twice as nice when you buy it in another colour. That makes sense. What is it called when you buy it in every colour available??? Obsessed I guess!!!

Carmen ! A girl after my own heart! I do the same, Shoes, pants etc. If you love something why not! It would never fail with me, if I asked someone where they got something it was always another country! Love the detail of this top on you, both look great with the printed pants.

I know your fondness for double garments in different color, it seems very nice. When we find a nice thing is natural to want to complete it. White and black are beautiful, they are also very yours colors. I love the design lace top, the back is wonderful (I can see a little of your vetebral column, LOL). The rest of the garment is wonderful, a beautiful filigree lace. And with your capri black and white combinations are perfect. I love your hair, now I see it a little differently, more … volume and less blond, is that possible? As always, wonderful, elegant and delicate. I love the look. That shame not to have two Carmen, one in Canada and one in Catalunya …; -) *

That is a pretty top…I can see why you tracked it down! I always buy in multiples. If I love something I often will pick it up in more than one color, especially if it’s on sale! So glad I found you via Sheela! 🙂
