Looking for a place to take some photos of my white and blue tops yesterday, we found this huge statue of an eagle. It just so happens that these cool cotton tops were bought at American Eagle, so it’s a perfect place to snap a few photos before we went shopping and to visit our grandchildren.
I always pay attention to detail, it turns a plain T-shirt into something unique. My mom used to crochet and I did too for awhile, so of course, this top was specially for me. No time to crochet anymore since I started blogging.
Twice as nice. When I love something, I buy two.
I bought these pretty blue and white paisley cropped jeans at Cleo on Friday: a slight stretch and relaxed fit, very comfortable and I knew they’d look good with white or blue.
They were on sale and I got the last pair of size 2.
Size 2 ??
I have NOT lost any weight and I used to be a size 6 or 8, depending on the make. They must have changed their sizing so that we think we’re smaller than we really are.
Have you noticed a sizing change or is it just me?
Stopped by for another photo on the way home.
What’s for lunch today?

Going through your older posts I noticed your passion for TWO – hahaha – it was a great idea to get two of these tops too, as both of them look beautiful. Your pants are just the thing to go with them. You look so lovely and fresh, I really don’t konw how you do it 🙂 . Have a great weekend – Margot

Oh, you noticed! Ha ha! I have many things in duplicate but different colours when I like something. Another post coming up soon of lace tops I bought: one black and one white.
Thank you for dropping by!
Happy weekend dear!

I’m happy you found those cropped pants. They look great on you and…have the paisley pattern you (and I) love so much ☺️ I had some surprises with the clothes size too. I’m size 6, but the skirts I purchased from Spanner are size 2, and the pants are size 4…
You gave me a good idea with the cold cucumber soup, especially now when we have a hot and humid summer. Thank you!
How was the dance organized on Wednesday at Kiwanis Park? I’m sure you had a great time, my gracious dancer friend.

Vielen Dank meine liebe Freundin! I’m size 2 or 4 at Spanner as well. I’m looking forward to going shopping with you again and hope we will find matching paisley scarves! Hope you like the cucumber soup, it is very refreshing on these hot, humid days. We will be doing one more dance at Kiwanis Park this month and I hope you can come.
Happy Friday!

Thanks so much Rebecca! Best to try things on; sizes can be quite misleading. Sometimes I have to buy XL and sometimes XS and everything in between. That’s what makes online purchases so difficult. Wish there was standard sizing. In Germany, I am always a 38.
Happy Thursday!

Great pictures, beautiful shirts, and pants beautiful. Wonderful crochet work (shame you left him to do) maybe someday you could give me one of your pieces. White is your color, but this blue is a color that I love, is very nice. I see you very beautiful in these photos, her hair pulled highlights the beauty of your face.

Love that top in the different colours. You are thin though fitting in size 6 or 8 ….. but size 2, hmmmm in England it has not changed…. and then the cold soup in the “Wilde rose ” china – fantastic!

The sizing is crazy! I can’t really be size 2.
You noticed my Wild Rose! I love this design, hand painted, made in Germany (as you know). My cousin gifted me with my first 3-piece set – cup, saucer and dessert plate – in 1982. Since then I have been adding and collecting. I have received gifts, bought more on trips to Germany in 1982, 1989, 1994, 2015 and also bought pieces on eBay. Someday I’ll do a post on my Wild-Rose china.
Wishing you a happy week my dear Ute and thank you for stopping by!

Very pretty top Carmen! I like the crochet and embroidery that is trending now. Always liked it. Love the printed pants too and how cute that you stood in THE perfect place to sprout those eagle wings in the pcs! I do exactly the same with things I really like, I have cargo pants same style, 3 diff colors, and just bought a pair of lace up flats in 2 diff colors from nordies.
Have a wonderful day!
