A Midsummer Day’s Dream

Every time I see bales of hay or straw in a country field I’ve wanted to do this. At age 64, my dream finally came true. Climbing up on this huge bale was so much fun!

Not a big dream, but it was a big bale. And it’s the simple things in life that can be so enjoyable.

My darling granddaughter is only 6 and she already had her first climb to the top!

Have you ever wanted to do something you finally got to do?

Is there something still on your dream list?

  1. Glad you finally got to conquer that bale of hay.

I’ve always wanted to do velcro jumping. Having a large wall covered in velcro and me wearing a suit that has the nobbly part of velcro, then running and throwing myself at the wall to see how high I stick.
Weird I know, but I saw someone do it once and I’ve been obssessed ever since.

    Could become an olympic sport?

Velcro jumping? Who knew? The strange things we learn through blogging. 🙂 May you stick to your dream and let me know when it comes true Sharon.

      Thank you for stopping by.

You, capri, white … the most beautiful combinations. The sun, the field, your smile, flowers, grandmother, granddaughter, … the happiness of everyday family life, the beauty of nature and the natural woman. Flowers in your hair, in your lap, in your hand … This post is the summer, this post lets me dream!

Thank you so much dear Josep-Maria! It is good to have dreams and sometimes dreams come true! A gentle breeze and fragrance of the field was so fresh and sweet, a lovely summertime experience. A walk along the seaside at sunset is also enjoyable.

A life without dreams is like a desolate field.

Great post Carmen. As a kid, I spent lots of time at my Grandpas farm and I know what it’s like to climb around on hay stacks and farm equipment. They were happy times during my youth and I see why you are enjoying it now. Glad you got to fulfill your dream. I did notice one typo in this post, you said you’re 64 but I think you meant 46! Just sayin’ 🙂

It’s never too late to make our dream come true and enjoy life at any age, I jumped on a bale at the age of 20 and learnt to drive at 30, so it’s never late to learn and have fun . Love how you look in your white t-shirt and those cute sandals , perfect outfit for a sunny summer day !! Have a nice day

Thanks so much Ivan, glad you like my look! Dreams come true and it was so fun to finally climb on a bale in a field, something you experienced at 20. Good for you to learn to drive at 30. Is there something on your dream list?
