Weekend Walk at Webster’s Falls

How I love to get away from it all to enjoy the fresh air and spectacular sights of Webster’s Falls. An adventurous day trip: great for a family outing, photography and exploring. Ontario has a myriad of breathtaking waterfalls besides the famous Niagara Falls.

This weekend it was Webster’s Falls.

And Tews Falls (almost as high as Niagara Falls).

Tews Falls

It was the perfect spring day for another hiking adventure in nature: the view of the magnificent waterfalls, the sound of the falls echoing through the gorge, the fragrance of lilacs in full bloom, and sunlight flickering through the trees. This is one of Ontario’s panoramic scenes of the Niagara Escarpment.

This looks as dangerous as it is. I am high on a cliff of the Dundas Peak overlooking the forest far below and the cities of Dundas and Hamilton in the distance.

Thank you so much my dear! It is truly magical as you say, and no matter how often we go, it is always amazing and as special as the first time.

Yes, I do enjoy Stratford too, by the peaceful Avon River and lovely swans. We are very blessed with so many marvellous places within driving distance.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful hometown of Timișoara. We looked up some information and it has a very interesting and significant history.

I googled and found more fabulous photos! Awesome architecture! A splendid city, as you described!

Glad you enjoyed the long weekend, but we missed dancing because of the holiday.

My dear Carmen, who thrill to see these landscapes of Ontario, so beautiful and so dreamed. You already know my fondness for hiking and nature, it would be wonderful to walk in those places with you. The waterfalls are beautiful, and so is your look. I love your pants and your nice jersey, and these beautiful shoes for walking on the field. You are the most beautiful and most stylish hiker. It’s nice to see your family walking with you, your sons, your grandsons … Everything is beautiful in this post, but there is one thing that makes me suffer, seeing you the edge of that cliff. I have very dizzy, and I grab your hand to walk out there!

Thank you very much dear Josep-Maria! I know you enjoy the mountains and going for hikes in your beautiful country. It is a joy in life. Perhaps someday you’ll have the opportunity to travel to Canada and I could be your tour guide. 🙂
