Happy St-Patrick, love your outfit and silver flats. I practiced the dance steps wearing my flats to be comfortable myself and I had a lot of fun. Dance is great for memory, body coordination and doing it fast is really a good exercise. Thanks for sharing your Irish Blessing and your dancing lesson, I loved both 🙂

The Irish Stew dance you tought us last Monday is awesome, a real joy! Thank you for that, dear Carmen!
I had the chance to visit Ireland during a week vacation in 2002. My son was there for his Master and PH.D program in Dublin, and we visited each day beautiful places on the East and West side of the country. Ireland is like a big welcoming village with emerald green grass and friendly red haired people with smiling faces. Loved it!!! ☘
I cannot wait to dance with you the Irish Stew again.

Nice post, Carmen. Some great blessing and a great class. Canada and Ireland are two of my favorite landscapes. Maybe I feel closer to these countries to the Mediterranean. Perhaps why they remind me of you. You look lovely with your green shirt and your white pants.

Thank you so much Josep-Maria! I have never been to Ireland, but I have visited and lived in Scotland, also drove through England. The landscapes are beautiful indeed! I have seen marvellous photos of Ireland and have some Irish friends in Canada. The T-shirt belongs to one of my dance students. 🙂
One of my favourite movies is THE QUIET MAN with John Wayne and Maureen O’Hara. It is a romantic story with beautiful scenery of the mountains, sea and countryside of Ireland. However, I don’t like smoking, fighting or women being mistreated. The scenes of Sean pulling Mary Kate along the grass is shocking! Have you seen it?

Yes, dear, I’ve seen the scene and the film. I love the movie and I also impacts the scene, although it is impossible to look at it with our eyes, we put ourselves in the eyes of Irish society of the time. It is one of my favorite movies, too, the landscape, and the romantic atmosphere. It would be lovely walk with you there …
