I tried on this elegant gown in Le Chateau on my way home from work today. MADE IN CANADA; I love the ruching detail at one side and the bare shoulder looks sensuous and glamorous.
Long black gloves makes me feel like I’m in romantic movie scene. My little black satin purse is big enough for a cell phone, tissue and lipstick.
Gentlemen in Black look sophisticated and I have chosen two suit rentals from THE BLACK TUX that will look great with my red dress.

Stunning look, dear! You are right, a lady in red is an instant eye catcher. I wore something very similar to your today’s look for New Year celebration. So, for Valentine day I chose a different colour 🙂

I still remember that in 2013 (soon after I started dance classes) you participated in a contest named Most Fabulous Women Over 40 Model Search (checked my memory on this very blog…:)). You had a very elegant dark red dress. After 3 years and some posts with you, your mother and Jean in gorgeous red dresses, you are now wearing a spectacular red gown. I’m really impressed! It seems you are ready for celebrating a few special events in February…Valentine Day…your birthday… Happy Birthday and best wishes, my dear Carmen!

Thank you dear Ivan! These red shoes are high heels. I prefer ballet flats for comfort, but stilettos look so much more elegant with an evening gown. I like your choice of suits too!

You look gorgeous. Definitely impressive. I love it with the black gloves. I do like a man with a bow tie, so smart. I ‘ll have the first or the last one please, but the last one doesn’t smile… oh I was looking at the suits anyway, that sort of suit is so elegant. (My dad had one too and looked so good in it when they went out to a ball dancing. I just bought long gloves for my Charleston performance, feels great wearing them!
