Christmas Eve at church, parties and gatherings, company for dinner and going caroling with friends are part of the festive activities during Christmastime. My three children have birthdays during this season (my youngest son’s birthday between Christmas and New Year) so it has always been a busy time of year.

Christmas Eve I wore a black velvet peplum top from Vero Moda with a red velvet tiered skirt, and snowflake earrings and necklace.
After the Christmas Eve service we open our presents.
I wore a black lace ensemble to a dance this week.
My red and black shawl with roses adds a Spanish touch to this outfit.
I enjoy dressing up and up-dos are perfect for special occasions.

I am privileged that my wife and I were at the same dance where you wore your black lace ensemble…..very elegant.
Since we were at different dances NY’s eve., I eagerly await your blog showing your New Year’s evening charming clothing and dance setting.
We managed a Christmas eve children’s service followed by supper at our place……then Mom and Dad were off with the grandchildren to the other “Grandma and Grandparents” home.
With such influence, your granddaughter shall mature to reflect her Mom and Grandma……four generations of loving, kind fashionistas.
