My last visit to Seattle included some fashion fun; Jean and I bought these striped tops in a little shop in Fremont.
I like the bell sleeves (impractical for doing dishes–I don’t do dishes!) but fantastic for dancing. I wore a beige, ruffled lace scarf that matched with the beige booties I got at the clothing exchange.
Jean added a black knit eternity scarf and wore black booties.
We love the asymmetrical design.
This has been a THROW BACK THURSDAY feature. Happy memories in sunny Seattle. I’m planning another trip to Seattle in the new year.

Fantastic…..a rarity and a real treat to see you and Jean dressed alike.

Thank you Bob! Quite right … it’s a rarity even though Jean and I have many of the same clothes, she will never go out with me in public dressed alike. Although, she didn’t mind when she was a little girl … lol.

I love the tops. The cut makes them drape so nicely, which makes them very figure flattering. Thanks for adding your stylish point of view to the My Refined Style Linkup!

Thank you Shellie! Sheath dresses, tunics and long tops are slimming. What woman doesn’t like figure-flattering clothes?
A pleasure to meet you Shellie!

Thank you dear Dan! I have such lovely memories of dressing like my mom as a child (and like Jean when she was a little girl). Now I’m happy that Jean will do a photo shoot with me 🙂 We have some things we both love.

When my daughters lived with me we loved to dress alike occasionally. Even now, when I go to visit them we do it sometimes, it is really fun. I love this stripy top, looks elegant and fun at the same time.

Thank you Melinda! Jean and I often like the same things but we never wear them at the same time, just for a photoshoot to show different ways to style an outfit. My mom often dressed me the same as herself when I was a little girl and I loved it. 🙂
Happy weekend!

Besides the fact you and Jean look amazing in those tops, I must say the tops themselves are very unique. Here’s what I like….there’s not one square corner on them, diagonal design and diagonal cut makes them anything but square. Thanks for sharing this terrific look.

Good morning dear – must ask again – is this not your younger sister? 🙂
You´re both looking beautiful, very nice dresses
and no dishes? Poor man or you have a machine 🙂
