Country Roads

Lazy summer afternoons are lovely occasions to wear my lavender and turquoise sundress that I bought a few years ago for my vacation in Costa Rica.

Whether I’m on my way to visit friends, going to a barn dance or just taking a drive through the countryside, I enjoy the little towns scattered around Southern Ontario.

Meandering along the country roads, about a 45 minute drive from where I live, you would miss the quaint town of Troy if you blink your eyes. Passing a patchwork of fields of gently rolling hills, Cafe Troy has a charming restaurant, perfect stop for an elegant afternoon coffee break.

Adjacent to this fine restaurant you will see the amazing pottery studio of Donn Zver, a magnificent inventory.

My sundress is comfortable and cool.

Lazy hours are an occasion to enjoy the pleasure of being alive, besides, the landscape you are sharing is so beautiful that deserves to be admired…
You look very nice and your sundress is adorable!
I absolutely agreed with the sign…it reminds me the ancient Roman otium

Such a charming sundress….and you generally avoid the sun…..partially accounting for your youthfullness…..I submit that Ralph’s neighbour, Toni, might have even said 22…….

We went to Troy and Donn Zverr’s shop years ago as we went to Ancaster…..

Another lovely post my friend. I am going to make your day Carmen. My Spanish neighbour, Toni, is cleaning my apartment at the moment. I showed her this post and asked her how old she thinks you are. “42”, she said. Yay ! 😀 ❤
