The city of Guelph, Ontario has lovely trails that meander along the Eramosa and Speed Rivers. This lattice covered bridge is a replica from the 1800s, part of the Royal Recreational Trail.
It is used by pedestrians and bicyclists, a romantic place to walk and reminisce on a pleasant spring day.
The bridge evokes nostalgic feelings of bygone days, even though it was built in 1992.
The huge lattice is magnificent with a spectacular view of the beautiful river through the “windows”.
My ivory lace blouse was bought online from Hudson’s Bay (Ralph Lauren). Silver necklace from Le Chateau and silver bracelet from Reitmans.
I bought this sheer, flowy skirt (which can be worn as a sundress) at Anna Bella. PERFECT for a Rumba! The ruffled handkerchief hem flares out beautifully when I twirl. I’ve already worn it twice to go dancing.
I bought these silver stilettos in NYC. I love silver shoes for dancing, they add a sparkle to my steps.

May your happy memories of days gone by outshine the sad moments of the past. Let’s remember the good times!
Look to the future, as George Burns once said … Look to the future because that is where you will spend the rest of your life.

Love the skirt, looks beautiful on you! I usually sew anything I need, it can be difficult to find the right fabric sometimes. Yours is definitely a dancing skirt, colors are adorable, too!
