As a line dance teacher, most songs are about falling in love or broken hearts. Feeling a little blue these days, but who says blue has to be sad? Blue skies have always meant happy times. We all go through times of sorrow; in life there’s no way to avoid it. Trouble comes along without being invited.
I wore my sheer blue blouse from HOLLISTER and HUE denim blues to my dance class today and danced away my blues.
Feeling pensive …
A smile hides a thousand tears …
Profound words …
I hope you dance!
What’s more fun than dancing? Going for coffee/tea with my friends after class!
And dancing at the Stampede Corral
Linking up with TURNING HEADS TUESDAY
and FUN FASHION FRIDAY
No one else has said (sung) it….so here goes….”I want some red roses for a blue lady”…… our spouses make the rest of the song irrelevant…..ha ha 😀

As a member of your dance class, I see that you are always joyful with a perpetual infectious smile that brings sunshine to each one of us…..I have often wondered how you do it…. please, share your blues in life….not just on your blog…. to let us know the joy of upholding you as friends are meant to do.
To expand on the “Profound Words”:
May the good times smother the bad times ; may the good times last far longer than “we can anticipate or imagine” …ideally for life.
I wore blue denim jeans and a rather colorful patterned blue shirt to your class yesterday for the joy of doing so…..not because I was blue.

Thank you so much Bob! Dancing is a happy and healthy activity. It beats drinking and drugs! I’d rather dance to escape my problems! Dancing helps reduce stress: it is good for body and mind and for our emotional well-being. Dancing really lifts our spirits, according to studies, it helps with depression. So the old adage to dance away our blues, really works.
I know it’s not a cure-all for everything, but at least it doesn’t leave you with a hangover or adverse side effects! 😉
Thank you for caring! Keep on dancing!

The photo of you looking over the balcony/stairs there is just beautiful. You look like a movie actress.
Love the quotes you shared. When times are rough it’s easy to get so impatient. When times are good it’s easy to take them for granted. Thanks for the reminders to be gentle on ourselves and to enjoy the now.
