I think they opened too many stores across Canada all at once. The Target near us and in some other cities were doing very well and we were hoping they’d keep those open.

Oh no! I’m so sorry you’re losing one of your favorite stores. I love it that you’re standing on the red ball!
I sit on them because I’m too clumsy to try to stand on one. Plus there’s no room for my walker!

It’s a fun feeling balancing on the ball. I have photos of my grandson on it too. I’m glad I got to do it before they take them away. Sitting on them is also fun.
Blessings!

So sorry to hear you are losing your Target. I actually think I could live only on Target purchases now that they carry veggies, 1/2 and 1/2, Starbucks coffees and wine.
LOL! Sorry for your loss.
Fun blog (I’m over 50 also-fab 50’s right?)!

Hello Heather, happy to meet you! Our Target had Starbucks, groceries and everything we need. I have waited all my life for Target to come to Canada, so you can imagine my disappointment when they closed after only two years. 😦
I started my blog when I was over 50, but I’m actually over 60 now. Fashion is fun and blogging is an enjoyable hobby. Great to share and inspire each other.
Have a happy week!

I found at Target so many beautiful clothes for my grandaughters! Luckily, I’ll continue shoping at Target, because my little two angels live in California, where I use to stay a few months a year. I’ll miss my Target store in Kitchener though…😞

I’ll be able to shop at Target too when I go to Seattle, but that’s not often, I’ve only been there three times since my daughter moved there in 2000. It was so handy to go anytime I wanted to and just fifteen minutes away.
Thanks for your visit!
See you at dance!

Ohhh… that’s too bad. We love our Targets down here. I have one walking distance from my house and it has great, inexpensive clothes. And groceries, too. Hope you still have other shopping opportunities.

Yeah, we still have Walmart. 😦 I will NOT shop there. Here’s an interesting post of 10 reasons Target is better than Walmart (by Steve Olson) …

It is such a shame when a good store closes, I guess there will be another one opening instead though…. might be a good one too. I am in Germany at the moment… going into town in a minute see why has changed again since December. The sun is so beautiful, I am off. Have a wonderful day Carmen.

I just love one stop shopping which Target basically is, without all the food choices. I’m sad because the Target closest to me has gone down hill with all the crime in the area of that particular store. I don’t even like to go near the parking lot anymore.
You look quite brave on that big red ball.

You are so right Joni, one-stop shopping, they had everything. I had waited for years to finally have a Target store and already gone! Sorry to hear about the crime in your area, shocking!
I had a “ball” at Target!!

My, what balance you have on the ball, enabled, I am sure by your dancing ability and your general fitness. (How long did you hold the dancer pose?)
On this dreary day, your blog is a beam of sunshine.
I get the impression that Target was on the ball for you; also, that your purchases alone should have been reason enough for Target to be profitable and to have stayed in Canada. 🙂 😉

Thank you very much dear Bob! LOL – I know I wasn’t the only one who supported Target, the Cambridge store did very well. I wish they had started slowly with perhaps ten stores nation-wide with key locations, then add more as time goes by.
As for the pose, I had to balance for awhile because there were always people passing by. Not an easy feat on a round ball, but it was something I always wanted to do.
