While shopping in Seattle Jean found these cool tunics with diagonal stripes and handkerchief hems. She’s wearing hers with a black chunky chain necklace (wish I has one) and black faux leather leggings and I wore black corduroy leggings.
Jean wore vegan black booties and I wore my red rubber booties, perfect for a drizzly day in Seattle. I prefer my red vintage booties that Jean gave me years ago.
I layered the outfit with a red cardigan with ruffles and added my mom’s black belt.
Scarves are one of my favourite accessories and I bought this one in NYC last summer.
I love the bold look of red and black. I wore this outfit to my dance class today.
Hello,
Very nice ! 😀

WOW!!! What a stunning presentation. Having seen this outfit on you at dance class, I can verify that the photograph duplicates the real, live presentation….. so appropriate that you linked up to “Turning Head Tuesday” hosted by Jess…..you and your clothes certainly turn heads. Hmmmmm, do I come to dance class for the joy of dance or to have my head turned? Ha ha ha….. 🙂

Hi Carmen! First off I love your scarf and I think I remember that back when you bought it. I love things with words on them. Your splashy shiny red booties are adorable too. I’d wear them in purple or green…..maybe orange if I was feeling brave.

Red happens to be my darling’s favorite color. She has quite the collection of scarves in different fabrics, and the more I see them, the more I become drawn. I think she would like this one.

Ha ha ha!! I can see what you mean Ralph, especially with Jean and I standing side by side! No wonder Jean does not want us to go out in public like this. 😉
Keep your eyes on the stripes, you are getting sleeeepy!

I haven’t got red shoes and I have very few clothes in that colour ( I think it doesn’t suit me ) but your black and red outfit is perfect and your vintage boots are so lovely! A tunic and a pair of slim fit trousers are an ispiring combination…
Have a Happy veg Easter! ( of course no lamb for me neither!!! )

Red and Black is one of my favorite colour combination. Today I had the chance to admire ‘live’ your elegant red and black outfit at our dance class. I hope I could find a tunic like yours… It’s beautiful! And the vintage red shoes look great and so fashionable!
