I could listen to “At Last” a thousand times, and it will still sound like the first time. Is NY one of your favorite places to visit?

Me too! That song evokes so much emotion and nobody sings is like Ella! NYC is definitely ONE of my favourite places to visit. What’s one of your favourite places to visit?

My wife loves to play “At Last.” The funny thing about music, we both have a similar taste. We both love Trance, oldies (music from the 50s, 60s, etc), classic rock, classical, etc. One of my favorite places to visit is Boracay. It is an island of the Philippines. It has one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever seen. It was actually listed as the number one beach in the world. Amazing weather, people, visual, etc.

Thank you dear Ute! Nice to have the same taste in style! I bought two wrap dresses because they remind me of my mom’s Diane Von Furstenberg wrap dress she had. (Only these are a fraction of the price: nicely made and made in USA.)
Have a great weekend!

Thank you for reading Ralph, but what are you doing up at 2 AM? I guess you’re a night owl. It’s only 8 o’clock here but I burn the midnight oil too.
Should I say goodnight or good morning? 😉

I’m definitely a night owl Carmen. Maybe I am still jet lagged from my visit to southern California in 1986 😉

Looks and sounds like a fun time. Your first picture of the Apollo Theatre reminded me of an old 1940 movie with Tyrone Power called “Johnny Apollo” which showed what appears to be that same sign. Good movie! 😀

Hi Linda! Yes, it was a marvelous time! I haven’t seen the movie, but if it’s from the 40s, I’ll be very interested to see it, I love old movies! I wouldn’t be surprised if it was the same sign.
Thanks for stopping by. 🙂
