The CNE or EX in Toronto (since 1879) is Canada’s largest annual fair; a family tradition that started when my grandmother took me there as a child. Toronto is a great day trip from where I live, only an hour away. This year I tagged along with my youngest son and his wife. The CNE is the place my daughter Jean took her first bungee jump in the 1990s, so many happy memories.
It was exciting watching the ZipLine. Would you do this?
We went to the Wiarton Fall Fair….enjoyed the variety of entries……what talent and imagination for the ever so many crafts.

I would not do the zip line…..have done a short zip line …4or 5 seconds….. at Carson’s Campground…..about 2 feet off the ground….our 8 yr. old grandson loves it.
Your tribal pants do you justice….you do the tribal pants justice.
You have never looked frumpy!
The rock balancing is a real skill, I’m sure.
You are so photogenic…..you could double as a Greek Goddess! But I’m you are so real rather than a myth.

Roller coasters are awesome. I cannot wait to visit Six Flags again. When we visited Canada four years ago, we visited a fair. I have no idea of the name, but her family loved shopping there. H&M seems to be popular everywhere. Do you often shop there?

Before anything else, I’d say you’re glowing and the 2nd image can’t lie! You remind me of my idol – the gorgeous Donna Mills of Knots Landing!

Looks like you had a lot of fun shopping at the EX! 🙂 Thanks for sharing your shopping adventure at the EX! I missed the EX this year because I was very jet lagged. Hope to catch it next year! The CNE definitely holds happy memories for me too; used to go almost every year when I was little. 🙂 Happy September, Carmen! XO, Violet

That’s funny, my Mom gave me a pair of pants just this week that look like that same exact pattern!

Hello Carmen! I love first off, the glow of your skin and the makeup! You look gorgeous. THe wide leg pants look so silky and comfortable. Very stylish. Great neutral as well, Love that you paired it with the lovely black blouse . Before I my condition, I would have totally zip lined! I am athletic, but now have to swim, and am looking to buy a trike in the spring. Hope you are enjoying your weekend. Jess xo

Those rocks are insane.
I’ve been zip lining in Costa Rica but my sister is coming out next week and we are going somewhere in the south of Ontario.
Love the lace top and the scarf.
I’d like to go to a real old fashioned fair. Maybe in the Fall we will find a little town fair. We went to Rockton last year and that was pretty fun.

I would (and have) tried zip lining. It’s so much fun! I also have a scarf addiction. They’re so versatile and add so much to any outfit. The CNE is a fun (and huge) fair. I’m glad you got to visit this year.

Yes, wide pants are very comfortable and they look lovable on you! ( which is an extra reason to wear them ) 🙂 I can imagine that was a hard task choosing among all those beautiful scarves!! You look so lovely in the photos!!
September is when many fairs take place in Italy , and this week was the turn of my small city!

Hi Carmen! I’d love to visit Toronto one day. In fact, it’s on my bucket list.
I was noticing those scarves in the photo of you standing near the display and loved the one you picked. I love things with words on them. Beautiful pants too!
I did go to an amusement park recently and it is the last time I’ll ever go on a rollercoaster.
